Bind the Strong man

shalom mishpacha, baruk h'shem YHWH - weh baruka ha'bo beh shem YHWH , "blessed his coming in the name YHWH" >>> Yahushua. I pray all is well with you and yours and know it will surely get even better.

 In this message I'd like to look into a wisdom given by the anointed one himself - Yahushua, that he gave centuries ago to the masses by dealing with the "religious elite" showing us how to get the mastery over things that can destroy us. We need at this time to revisit the writings of MattiYahu and Mark to examine the message in context. In Matt. chapter 12 we read: At that time Yahushua went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, "Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day". .......- this verse I needed to mention because it shows that Yahushua was being attacked by the Pharisees and he later tried to explain to them that HE was the Master of their sabbath!, MattiYahu. 12:6-8, "......But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of man is Master even of the sabbath day". .......- something they obviously didn't want to buy into.

Then as we foward to what was written in chpt. 12:22-30, Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Yahushua knew their thoughts, and said unto them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of Elohum, then the kingdom of Elohym is come unto you. 29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad". .......- now before we go too far ahead we need to pay attention to verse 25 where it states: Yahushua knew their thoughts!, ... WOW - this had to be disturbing because he was able to read their corrupt minds before they were ever able to publically articulate their accusations, - can you say: "accuser of the brother"?. The very name shatan not only means adversary but also "accuser" (Strong's 7853). Yahushua properly used his ability to read their thoughts to make mockery of their pathetic logic and wisdom.

He also made a strong point about every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and Beelzebub wouldn't cast out his own devils he himself sent, ..... man was that a stupid accusation! Yahushua also slapped them in the face with spiritual logic when he asked them: "and if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? .......- many people miss this point entirely because they don't see that Yahushua was pointing out through this questions that their children can't even cast out a devil, never have - never will !. Yahushua wasn't bragging on himself, he was simply pointing to the fact that their children can't cast out a devil proves that they AND their children are in unison WITH the devil, and to add injury to insult - their children's inability to put away wickedness had judged them both! .... GAME OVER!

Now to the point I'd like to make from Yahushua's statement in vs. 29 that is also recorded in Mark 3:37, "..... No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house". .......- This may be common sense BUT if we really had common sense we would be able to apply this to us now. Yahushua showed he had the necessary power to bind the strongman aka h'shatan then and now, but how about us?..... can we? - then why are our households and families in disarray for decades even centuries?..... who did we let do this?

Many have for centuries struggled with having righteous and stable relationships / marriges, children, households, etc ..... WHY? Who has bound them for the purpose of spoiling or plundering their households?.... and why can't they get loose? Maybe, jusy maybe if people would take the word of the most high serious and walk in his torah / instruction, their lives would be more free and easy, remember the wisdom from mishle / proverbs 13:15, "Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard". .......- and today we still have many that don't understand that "good understanding" comes from torah and every word of YHWH and also the multitudes that still transgress the ways of YHWH just don't understand why life is so hard for them, they just constantly whine and complain about it. Freedom is the desire of every human being and even every animal and it has always been the father's plan for us to be free but for some reason or another mankind has always found a way to get himself bound, .....whats that about???

When the children of Yisrael found themselves bound in Egypt it was the father YHWH that told Moshe to tell pharoh whats recorded in shmote 9:1, YHWH said unto Moses, "Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith YHWH Elohy of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me". .......- there was a very important purpose for freedom then AND now - to properly worship the most high the way he deserves, we CANNOT be in bondage physically or spiritually! ( but at least they knew they were in bondage and what strongman was binding them ). We all need to be honest and admit if our households are not what they should be according to the will of YHWH, (and most aren't) it is because we have let someone or something come in and bind us spiritually so it can spoil / plunder us. Even the apostle Paul when writing to the believers and gentiles wrote in 2nd Corintians 3:17, ".....now the Master is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Master is, there is liberty". .......- this statement is both simple and convicting, - either his spirit is in you and your house or it's not! .... nuff said!

Obviously the adversay / accuser has the mastery over many households the whole world over through the method of binding and spoiling, because he is strong and dilligent in his efforts to bring chaos BUT the multitudes are weakened through their negligence of the instruction from the most high, - a total mis-match, ..... h'shatan has proven he hasn't had much competition from us over the centuries. If we would accept this reality we could then work towards the resolution of getting control of our household and our own lives resulting in us being loosed and running the devil away from us - permanently! Remember what James tried to get listeners to understand in 4:7?, "Submit yourselves therefore to ELOHYM. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you". .......- can't we even understand this simplicity and put it to action? I understand many may say: "but we don't have the power of Yahushua", - yeah but we don't have the responsibility either! - all we need to do is strenthen our walk with the father and live in righteousness resulting in us protecting and taking care of each other at home AND abroad. We have to dedicate ourselves to keeping the doors closed to the spoiler so he can't enter in the first place! Truth be told we have opened up so many portals for the adversay he don't need to break in, ..... truth be told we have bound ourselves in so many ways mentally and spiritually he dont even need to break a sweat constraining us so are we really considered strong in the first place?. ....... well?

It is past time for us to stop faking strength and prove we have it by first being obedient to the word of the most high YHWH and NOT ignoring his torah. It is written in proverbs / mishle 28:9, He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. .......- this is NOT gender specific but it is warning specific - if you purposely ignore torah, your prayers for a blessed household and family become offensive!.

Let's now also look at 1 of the many purposes Yahushua came as spoken by the prophet YeshiYAHu / IsaiYah and then confirmed by Yahushua himself. In Isaiah 61:1-2, "The Spirit of the my Master YHWH is upon me; because YHWH hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH, and the day of vengeance of our ELOHYM; to comfort all that mourn;....." .......- the prophecy I really want to pay attention to here is: to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those that are bound, ( can you say: yom kippurym to Jubilee? - Leviticus 25:9-10 ).

Yahushua alone was the only one that had the power to bind the strongman "h'shatan" and do whats needed to be done for our own good. We see him confirm this responsibility in the testimony of Luke chapter 4:14-21, And Yahushua returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 "The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Master". 20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 And he began to say unto them, "This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears". .......- two important points worth mentioning here:

1) verse 4 shows "Yahushua returned in the power of the ruach into Galilee" this shows he wasn't full of himself but instead full of whats necessary to accomplish his Father's will, not to mention we should remember what shalach / apostle Paul tried to instill in all that could hear whats recorded in 2nd. Corintians 3:17, "

Now the Master is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Master is, there is liberty". .......- nuff said! The second point worth noting is:

2) He stated: "this day is the scripture fulfilled in your ears" - proclaiming to them that he is the one prophecied about worthy to endure this task .... haleluYAH!

Yahushua is our earthly role model of how to bind up that strongman that vexes us or our families or our friends, like him we MUST be in the ruach to have the power needed to do what need be done by NOT being carnal minded. Remember what Paul wrote in Romans 8:5-6, "For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is LIFE and PEACE " .......- we can learn much wisdom from reading various writers of the scriptures, but lets take our cues from the professional ->>> Yahushua!
