circumcision, ... lets cut straight to the point (pt.2)

                                             I sincerely pray all is well or know assuredly it will be soon.

I'd like to continue from part I to bring a complete understanding to the relationship between circumcision and covenant and the seriousness of them even to this hour.

As we get back to the relevance of this to circumcision we have to understand that it also requires a "cutting" for a covenant of YHWH and that male child. The main difference when it come to the body part that has been referred to as the "privy member" that I will refer to as the "male member" is: it also has to be cut for serious reason. Just as the most high told Abraham his seed will be blessed, that seed absolutely had to pass through a blood covenant area to make this effective >>> the token area of the "male member". A teaching opportunity from the torah for morality often gets passed by because the men in our society haven't been instructed to take our / their body parts more seriously and reverence the fact that we carry around a covenant token EVERYWHERE we go! - and NOT to pass that very token between us and the most high YHWH around to our "love partners" irresponsibly! ( aka - lust, lust, lust ~ re-read the torah at leviticus 21:15 ).

If we were to be honest and sat and thought about everywhere and everybody ( not just who you choose to remember! ) we indiscriminately slung our privy member to.... ( lacking the full understanding that because of carnal lust that seed may pass through our covenant area dedicated to YHWH ), - we all should just fall down wherever we are and repent!.

No wonder it was later written in Romans 6:13 &19 about yielding: 13 ".....neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto Elohym, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto Elohym. 19 "I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness". ( please read ALL of Romans chapter 6 ), This proves we may have entered into some covenants based on carnality and it will NOT be taken lightly by YHWH!

On a different aspect of unions we also need to accept and not ignore the main reason YHWH hates "putting away", a pre-cursor to "divorce" - as he warned us in Malakhy 2:15-16, ......therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. 16 For YHWH, the Elohym of Israel, saith that HE HATETH PUTTING AWAY: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith YHWH of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. ......- is because it's a irresponsible act of breaking a union aka covenant between man and his woman and above all YHWH! ->>> now is that the purpose of marriage covenants in the first place?

If we continue and revisit back in b'reshyt 17:21-27 it's written: ".....But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year". 22 And he left off talking with him, and Elohym went up from Abraham. And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as Elohym had said unto him. 24 And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 26 In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son. 27 And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him. .......- noticed how out of all these males, the only one that will receive the continuation of YHWH's covenant is Isaac because Abraham was not yet circumcised when Ishmael was conceived so that seed didn't pass through the covenant area of his "male member", but right after Abraham (then at the age of 99) circumcises himself, the next seed that passes through that covenant token area is eligible, that's why it was written in b'reshyt 22:16-17, And said, "By myself have I sworn, saith YHWH, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, THINE ONLY: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies"; ( isn't that easy to understand?) ... so why haven't all these "know-it-all" teachers understood that so they can teach it to you?

If you don't think circumcision as a token of the covenant between man and YHWH was very important to the patriarchs, then you neen to re-vist whats written in b'reshyt chapter 34 pertaining to the uncircumcised heathen forcing himself in a daughter of Yacob / Israel who were a covenant people.

In b'reshyt chapter 34 we read: and Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the land. 2 And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the country, saw her, he took her, and lay with her, and defiled her........- he took her? - rape by any other name is still RAPE!, continuing on >>> 5 And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come. 7 And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob’s daughter; which thing ought not to be done. .......- I find it inadequate that the translators used the term "folly" instead of the hebrew definition for the word "nblah" which means wicked thing, or disgraceful thing - they mistakenly applied the "nabal" which simply means foolish. ( apply 2nd Tim 2:15 here )

Another main point often missed here is "wrought wickedness" in Israel means: tying / intermingling the uncircumcised and un-covenant heathen with a daughter of Israel ....NOT to be done! - continuing on ->>> 11 And Shechem said unto her father and unto her brethren, Let me find grace in your eyes, and what ye shall say unto me I will give. 12 Ask me never so much dowry and gift, and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife. 13 And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had "defiled" Dinah their sister: 14 And they said unto them, "We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncirumcised; for that were a REPROACH unto us:" .......- as I just stated: intermingling with the uncircumcised and un-covenant heathen is NOT to be done!, continuing on - here comes the false covenant payback scheme >>> 15 "But in this will we consent unto you: If ye will be as we be, that every male of you be circumcised; 16 Then will we give our daughters unto you, and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you, and we will become one people. 17 But if ye will not hearken unto us, to be circumcised; then will we take our daughter, and we will be gone". 18 And their words pleased Hamor, and Shechem Hamor’s son. .......- this request for them to become circumcised had nothing to do with bringing them into the circumcision covenant YHWH made with Abraham, and it's deceitful intent was NOT perceived by Jacob their father, ... it was vengence personified! - they were gonna get cut (karat) every which way but loose! - continuing on >>> 25 And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, - Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. 26 And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went out. 27 The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister. 28 They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field, 29 And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house. .......- and the moral or message of this story is: KEEP YOUR UNCIRCUMCISED - UN-COVENANTED heathen people away from us !!!

Did we also fail to recall the event that happened in b'reshyt chpt. 38 pertaining to Onan disrepecting his father's command and the continuation of the family lineage? In b'reshyt chapter 38:8-10, And Judah said unto Onan, "Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother". 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased YHWH: wherefore he slew him also. .......- how many times have we read this and only understood that he was killed for being selfish? ~ there have always been selfish people since the garden of Eden, - nothing new! ....how come the know-it-alls never properly articulated to us that this "seed spilling" act was a rebellious behavior involving the carnal sexual gratification of going into Tamar, - BUT refusing to honorably respect the covenant by the continuation of passing the convenant family's seed into the woman past the covenant area of his privy member, BUT instead he foolishly pulled out and shot his future on the ground! ....which resulted in: NO RESPECT for the covenant, resulting in: NO FUTURE!, >>> BAD CAREER MOVE!

Another serious account of the importance of circumcision we read in shmote / exodus 4:18-20, And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace. 19 And YHWH said unto Moses in Midian, "Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life". 20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of Elohym in his hand. .......- 1st problem I noticed here is Moshe (after seeing signs, receiving instruction, and debating with YHWH till he angered him) still went and asked for permission from his father-in-law ...wth? Then Moshe after getting permission from Yethro, proceeded to go back to Egypt without following the covenant decllaration of his own people -> circumcision!,

We then read in 4:24-26, And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that YHWH met him, and sought to kill him. 25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me. 26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision. .......- this is also mis-taught by some and over-looked by others because they really don't understand the importance of circumcision to YHWH - It is a serious token of his covenant people NOT to be overlooked by anybody - even Moshe! He himself was circumsized so his sons were in the covenant, BUT their children and those after would not be if it wasn't for the work by Zipporah, ....not to mention she saved Moshe's life because he made this mistake of focusing on the traditions and authority of HER father instead of the mighty one of Yisrael, ....Moshe was almost annihilated! ( now try to convince yourself that YHWH's circumcising covenant isn't important! )

I think one of the main issues today about circumcision is the mis-application of apostle Paul's statement that they read in 1st Corinthians 7:18-19, "Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of Elohym". .......- this statement is soley dealing with the issue of thinking that just the cutting the foreskin will get you salvation, - he just brought correction so it would clear it up for them: keeping the commandments of Elohym should be the focus for any called servant! Also many get trapped up in the epistle Paul wrote in Romans chapter 2 - but thats just his articulation of what is written in torah in debrym / Deuteronomy 10:16, 16 "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked" .......- this added instruction is waaaaaay before Paul's, and lets not fail to understand apostle Paul was referring to Deuteronomy 30:6, 6 "And YHWH thy Elohym will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love YHWH thy Elohym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live". .......- this promise in no way negates the command of physical circumcision, it just completes the understanding of how to fulfill the covenant - both body and soul! ( so that he may pass through both ). Another example from the bible some forget to embrace is in Acts chapter 16 pertaining to the young man named Timotheous that Paul adopted and treated as his son, in Acts 16:1-3, Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek: 2 Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium. 3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek. .......- Paul knew his torah observant and obedient behavior was gonna get "checked" by the Yehudym so he acted according to the torah to eliminate that criticism, ( note the time frame: this circumcision was after Yahushua shed his blood on the stake ).

Again, if we think back the scriptures are replete with the importance of things being "cut off" so that a great purpose may pass through, even as we often missed because we read shallowly back in Yoshua chapter 4:5-7, And Joshua said unto them, Pass over before the ark of YHWH your Elohym into the midst of Jordan, and take ye up every man of you a stone upon his shoulder, according unto the number of the tribes of the children of Israel: 6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 7 Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were "cut off " before the ark of the COVENANT of YHWH; when it passed over Jordan, the waters of Jordan were "cut off": and these stones shall be for a memorial unto the children of Israel for ever. .......- This was the most high showing his will for us to even pass though a major element of life ->>> water, - for a continuation of his covenant via the ark.

If we take time to read with comprehension Ibrym / Hebrews 12:23-24, "....To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to Elohym the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Yahushua the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel". .......- the point we want to look at here is the Yahushua brought in the new covenant through HIS perfect blood - that sprinkled on the ground when he was pierced by the roman soldier ( and this covenant in NO way tries to suggest the law of YHWH is done away with! ), also we need to acknowledge that before Yahushua's body was pierced, his first piercing came from the crown of thorns placed on his head by the mocking heathen Romans we read in Mattiyahu 27:29, Mark 15:17, Yohchanan 19:2 & 5 - completing the shadow figure of the ram caught in the thicket that Abraham offered in place of his son, from b'reshyt 22:13, And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. .......- this was a actually a test for Abraham to really see how strong he was covenanted to YHWH.

For those that still think circumcision covenant is vanquished they really need to read the yet to be fulfilled prophecy written in YeshiYahu aka IsaYAH chapter 52:1, "Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall NO MORE come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean" .......- I guess the pastors, the tele-vangelist and some others missed that one huh? ( they also need to re-read Ezekiel 44:6-9 ).

As we close this more thorough understanding we should also not be ignorant of what the prophet YermiYah / JerimiYah spoke about future covenants. in JerimiYah 31:31-33 it was explained to us: "Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YHWH: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohym, and they shall be my people". ........- This does NOT mean the ten commandments are done away with!..... it sincerely means ->>> No longer will he write on stone - but instead on our living souls and on our heart, - which is our blood pumper ( the strongest blood covenant place there could ever be outside the blood of mashiach! ) so we can pump the understanding and obedience of his covenant with us -> throughout our whole body resulting in us finally being who we need to be.

Now that we understand why it's important to "think outside the box" that the world's philosophy tries to trap us in!, ->>> the main point I wanted to clarify in this message is: there was and still is a purpose for covenants whether they be through cutting up animals in centuries past or us still circumcising the male children or even the verbal declaration of the blood of Yahushua h'mashiach in these days.

( And please remind those religious nutcases here in the United States to STOP with the "replacement theology" and embrace the reality that YHWH made a covenant with Abraham son of Terah -> NOT Abraham Lincoln! )

.....anyway, whatever covenant you make with YHWH should NOT ever be taken lightly, ...... PERIOD!

( that has been in the past and still is today and will be in the future a sure-fire way to get yourself, your family or loved ones or congregation or any relationship divided and torn apart permanently! )
