dietary laws, easily explained

shalom mishpacha, friends and those just passing through. "ALL praises and glory to the Most High YHWH" - baruk h'shem! - & todah YHWH for his plan of salvation through Yahushua h'mashiach.

                                       I pray all is well or will be soon with you and yours.

This time around I'd like to make light work of a heavy argument that we need not stress over, The topic of examining scriptural references dealing with the "dietary laws being done away with or not". We that have understanding realize these laws are not "done away with on the cross" but those around us want to quickly take us to their bible to try to prove otherwise.

Before folks go full steam ahead with their errant understanding maybe it would be a good idea to reflect on 2nd Tim. 2:15-16, "Study to shew thyself approved unto ELOHIYM, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more un-ELOHYM-liness ". ......- the operative word here is STUDY, not just read or skim over or just memorize but STUDY! - Herein lies the problem: the lack of dedication to proper understanding!

The simple misunderstanding of consuming whatever we want we first saw in Genesis when Adam was told 2:16-17, And YHWH Elohim commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die", ......- Well we know what happen from then, so how can anyone tell you that disobedience of the commands of the most high either "dietary" or any other way can't destroy us then or now? >>> Our very first transgression involved food!

wisdom: no matter where we live, the Most High never wanted us to live in that place called Obes-city ...lol

When we try to tell our family and friends about the dietary laws from the book of "w'y'qra" meaning "and I called out " originating from w' or wah = and, wah'y = and I, and qara = called out (Strong's 7121) aka "Leviticus", we see this is for HIS "called out" ones and obviously not everybody. So as we read Lev. chapter 11 we see the dietary laws YHWH gives to Moses and Aaron to separate the "called out" people and we know this list is very uncomfortable to many.

Even some believers are forced to use a inaccurate term when dealing with torah ignorers and say: don't eat "unclean foods",... BUT the reality is, if it's unclean - it's wasn't ever intended to be FOOD in the first place!

I'm sure you've already read the list numerous times but what has been overlooked is when you get down to vs. 44-45, "For I am YHWH your ELOHIYM: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be set-apart; for I am set-apart: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth 45 For I am YHWH that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your ELOHIYM: ye shall therefore be set-apart, for I am set-apart". ...... - Note in 11:44 it is recorded therefore "sanctify yourselves" this makes a very important point we will see later by apostle Paul.

In the epistle Paul wrote to Timothy we read in 1st. Tim. 4:1-5, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which ELOHIYM hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth 4 For every creature of ELOHIYM is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of ELOHIYM and prayer., ......- Right now we are not focused on vs. 3 about marrying - but instead that part about "command to abstain from meats", which was a issue of man-made doctrine not applicable to us, but note that it does speak of meats created to be received with thanksgiving ( prayer \ gratitude ) of them that know the TRUTH ! .....Don't you think apostle Paul may have possibly read psalms?, namely psalms 119:142, " Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the TRUTH." ......- if you know the law and understand grace, only then can you know his truth. You have to point this out to those that want to take you here to 1st Tim. chpt. 4. ( also read John 17:17 )

Now to put a lid on their silly "interpretation" in verse 5 is a continuation from verse 4 - "nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving for it is "sanctified" by the word of Elohym and prayer", again we see this reference from Leviticus 11:44, "For I am YHWH your ELOHIYM: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be set-apart; for I am set-apart" ......- His list of "sanctified" foods is made plain here, I challenge anyone to show me where He or mashiac offers a "new list" other than found in Leviticus chpt.11!. Remember the wisdom of melek Shelomo in mishle / proverbs 30:5-6, "....EVERY word of Eloah is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou NOT unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a LIAR". ......- nuff said!

The writing of Matthew in chapter 15 is also weakly manipulated by those with false doctrine, but it is one of the easier to set back aright. How many times had you heard a wannabee bible teacher say: "Jesus said it aint what goes in a person, its what comes out that counts", well he is right seeing how much stupidity constantly comes out from the scripturally perverse.

Lets look at the whole of Matt. 15 and not part of that conversation. It even starts off dealing directly with what this dialogue is about: Matt. 15:1-2, Then came to Yahushua scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 "Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread." , now I may be a little slow but I thought I just read the reason they accosted h'mashiac was to attack him because of their own handed down tradition of handwashing. They really couldn't find fault in him so they went after his talmydym over a handwashing ritual? (obviously too much time on their dirty hands).

How can our family, friends etc. not see what is written? in vs. 9 he talks about them keeping "doctrines of men" which many religious teachers promote. I think the only verse these teachers recite in Matthew chpt.15 is vs.11, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man", ......- but did they take a good look at vs.10, >>> And he called the multitude, and said unto them, "Hear, and understand:" ......- they must not have a seen the word "understand" not "postulate" but "understand", anyway wasn't this rebuttal about the tradition of handwashing? ..... I thought so.

Anyway he gave Peter understanding through clarity in verses 16-19, 18 "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man" ......- and continuing on he wraps it up unmistakably in vs. 20, " These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man." ......- translation: Don;t bother us about your traditional handwashing!

Now if that don't make it plain then the scriptural perverts are not arguing with you but are arguing with the "understanding" given by Yahushua himself! I am so disappointed at the extremes some go through to justify eating the unclean thing. Surely apostle Paul was prophetic long ago in his epistle to the Phillipians in 3:18-19, (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the ENEMIES of the stake of Mashiach: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose god is their BELLY, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.). ......- no comment.

In the book of Acts of the apostles chapter 10 is proof positive years after h'mashiac was slain and resurrected those that followed him still didn't eat the unclean thing. We read during Peter's vision while on his roof 10:10-16 , And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, "Rise, Peter; kill, and eat". 14 But Peter said, Not so, YHWH; for I have NEVER eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, "What ELOHIYM hath cleansed, that call not thou common". 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. ......- now if the dietary law was "done away with on the cross" why was Peter and no doubt all the talmydym still following torah namely Leviticus 11th chpt. and not eating anything unclean and common?

This chapter also is manipulated for the purpose of eating swine / pork, etc. Initially even Peter didn't clearly understand (especially what was said in vs.15) but later in this same chapter we see he finally did get clarity as he stated in 10:28, And he said unto them, "Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but ELOHIYM hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.". ......- Peter's vision in no WISE suggested he or anyone else begin eating unclean beast but the vision showed the gentiles that had been regarded unclean can now be accepted if they live righteously (read vs.1-2) like Cornelius.

Do you remember reading the nbuw'ah \ prophecy of Isaiah dealing with end time judgement? in the chpt. 66:15-17, ...For, behold, YHWH will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire will YHWH execute judgment, and by his sword, upon all flesh; and the slain of YHWH shall be many. 17 "They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together", saith YHWH". ......- so as it was in the beginning when they ate what they shouldn't have in the garden, so will it be in the end!

Now all this time I thought we were not just to be just hearers of the word but doers!, - Again these explained verses are easy to understand "IF" your GOD is not your belly!
