A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom alychem, "praises and glory to the Most High YHWH alone" - our King everlasting and from where all true wisdom and knowledge comes, also baruk h'shem YHWH and baruka ha'bo b'shem YHWH >>> Yahushua.

This time around in brevity I'd like us all to examine our position pertaining to our relationship with the father, the position I particulaly mean is where we stand as far as his authority over us.

We all claim (or at least most of us do) YHWH is our leader, BUT what attitude do we have about how to follow the leader - do we want to submit to him or do we have to be forced to?..... here are a few quick examples from centuries past.

If we look back at a torah example of being under a tyranical leadership we saw the new pharoh exercising a hard authority over the children of Yisrael.

In shmote / exodus 1:2-14 it's recorded: Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: 10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11 Therefore they did set over them task masters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses. 12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. 13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: 14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour. ......- we see things took a hard turn for the Israelites after Jacob and his sons died off because of a paranoid ruler, no doubt a "lord"- so ask yourself: is this a master they chose to submit to or a master they were forced to?.... this obviously isn't hard t figure out.

Many years later we heard the word of our master YHWH through the prophet IsaiYah, in IsaiYah 1:6, "A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear?" saith the YHWH of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name". ......- this more than anything was an indictment against the corrupt priest that didn't have the heart or mind to submit to the mighty one of Yisrael ( and they got called on it ), ... can you say INEXCUSABLE?

Centuries later we read an account of Yahushua h'mashiach dealing with the multitudes from his position on a mountain where he articulated to them many things but the topic I want to continue in about his reference to those that claim to submit to him. In Matthew 7:22-23 we read: "Not every one that saith unto me: master, master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, master, master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity!" ......- Yahushua as a true prophet was warning them as well as us about false dedication, but the main problem with the translation of this passage is the word iniquity, translated from hebrew to Greek they ended up with the word "anomian" meaning: "without law" or "violation of law" ( Strong's 458 ), but in the hebrew would mean "without judgement"- pertaining to the torah. So now we can understand that's the reason he will reject their works - although done in his name. If he was REALLY their master they would submit to the instruction / torah of his father!

Later we read a telling account from Mark pertaining to two of the disciples pettitioning to Yahushua for positions of authority in the future, we read in Mark 10:35-44, And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, "Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire". 36 And he said unto them, "What would ye that I should do for you?" 37 They said unto him, "Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory". 38 But Yahushua said unto them, "Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" 39 And they said unto him, "We can". And Yahushua said unto them, "Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared". 41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John. 42 But Yahushua called them to him, and saith unto them, "Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. 43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all". ......- these two dillusional powerstruck brothers got set back in order by Yahushua but the point I think we need focus on is that they themselves may have submitted to Yahushua's authority only so others can come submit to them later, also the point h'mashiach made to them that ruling over one another is GENTILE behaviour, but Yisraelite behaviour is to be servitude and humility - thats how you are to master! ...... plain enough?

In the churches we grew up in we often heard it spoken "our lord and saviour" meaning two different purposes. If our pastors had understanding they would have declared "master and saviour" but here is the important part - he is already master and has already proven himself to be our saviour whether some choose to accept it or not, .....but our question is whether we sincerely choose to allow HIM to be our Master by our own submission. As a side note it has also been pointed out for our consideration in these days since the abolishment of physical slavery in 1865, "We might be done with slavery - BUT slavery certainly's not done with us!".....(body vs. mentality) selah

Throughout the annals of time we should have learned the difference by now of the two types of masters: one has an involutary un-yielding power over you, the other you submit to - so we have to decide how we chose to aproach and serve our adony -> the Most High YHWH, voluntarily with love OR by force? Lets NOT be outdone by those that have in the past and some even still today worship their "lord" Baal that they gladly bow down and voluntarily serve, but lets exceed their useless wordship by submitting ourselves to the TRUE and living Elohym NOT by lip service but by deed to glorify him in all things.

selah and shalommmm
