The hand that rocks the cradle......

shalom l'kulam, All praises and glory and honor to the Most High YHWH, our creator, our sustainer and the origin all real blessings... baruk h'shem! & baruka h'bo b'shem YHWH = blessed your coming in the name of YHWH @ Yahushua.

      I pray you and yours are blessed and allowing only the Most High to order your steps as we proceed forward.

In this very brief message I'd like to look into a old saying from a poem that has gotten twisted in it's reality. Some of you have heard the 1865 published poem "What Rules the World" by William Ross Wallace that has a commonly quoted refrain througout the poem that states: "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle Is the Hand That Rules the World". The purpose of his poem was a testament as well as flattery to women, namely Mothers, Grandmothers, etc. that praises them as influencial forces to their infants that will someday grow up and run the affairs of the world. I find it interesting this poem was published the same year that physical slavery was abolished in America, ....hmmmmmm

That writing seems salutational and honorable in it's intent - and it is!, ....probably inspired from reading mishle' / proverbs 31:10-28 pertaining to a "virtous woman", ~ however the "GOD of THIS WORLD" may have gotten jealous as well as irate to the point of vengeance, >>> h'shatan himself wanted to be the ruler of this world from thousands of years ago long before this poem, however he failed in his campaign and has been a little bit wrath ever since, - now he has to hear about Mothers or any love-filled nurturers influencing and running things? ....NOT WITHOUT A FIGHT!

The adversary himself has set all of his energies to corrupting ( rocking ) this world and all of it's inhabitants starting with the youth!, - He even sent us a KING of Rock n Roll ( Yeah, I WENT THERE! )

For those that like to sit around and wax sentimental about the "hand that rocks the cradle" maybe they need to wake up and smell the CHAOS!,  The GOD of THIS WORLD hates discipline!. How could anyone that lives in the real world with even half a brain ( even if it is the cradle rockers ) want to take credit for influencing the perversions and destructions that go on daily from the hands of the youth?

Here is a excerpt from a report over ten years ago pertaining to the many mis-directed youth in just the U.S. alone:

Through the juvenile courts and the adult criminal justice system, the United States incarcerates more of its youth than any other country in the world, a reflection of the larger trends in incarceration practices in the United States. In 2002, approximately 126,000 juveniles were incarcerated in youth detention facilities alone. Approximately 500,000 youth are brought to detention centers in a given year. This data does not reflect juveniles tried as adults. Around 40% are incarcerated in privatized, for-profit facilities. ......and you better believe it's gotten worse since! ->>> mis-directed youth is BIG business!

So where is the power of those hands rocking the cradle? - obviously it's not as powerful as the "GOD of THIS WORLD's" hand!, ( they fail to apply Ephesians 6:11-12, Put on the whole armour of YHWH, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.) .....and therein lies our problem! >>> Our BIGGEST problem comes from our schism from the word of the Almighty opting for those undisciplined philosophies of this world, >>>BAD CAREER MOVE!!!

The Most High always wanted us to first have our households in order to keep wicked influences away so that we and our youngins won't end up subject to the adversary's plan to kill, steal and destroy. There are not a lot of passages teaching parents how to protect their children because that should be instinctive, yet and still "If" we really searched out the scriptures like real Yisraelites ought to we could see there are some writings to instruct us accordingly. Lets re-visit some of them:

b'reshyth / genesis 18:18-19, ".....seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of YHWH, to do justice and judgment; that YHWH may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him". .......~ this is "heads up" to all the women's libber's and deadbeat dads that the HEAD of the household should be the man as far as protection, provider and instruction by being a "role model" unto righteousness.

debarym / deut. 6:4-7, "Hear, O Israel: YHWH our Elohym, YHWH is one : 5 And thou shalt love YHWH thy Elohym with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up". .......~ this is overlooked and ignored instruction ( mainly by christianity ) to relentlessly teach and inculcate all your youth with the torah at home and away from home ( when it's most needed ) and from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed, ....this will certainly keep the adversary's nasty hand away!

psalms / tehilym 127:3-5, Lo, children are an heritage of YHWH: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. .......~ this is beautiful poetry about the blessing of having children, mainly sons - but it reminds you that they come from YHWH, therefore the sons are a inheritance of protection and peace for the family, ... keeping the adversary AWAY!

proverbs / mishle' 13:24, He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. .......~ this is simple instruction to repeatedly train up your child correctly before the adversary gets him.

proverbs / mishle' 19:18, Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying. .......~ this is more good advice and wisdom to strenthen your child at a young age to resist the GOD of THIS WORLD and his nasty hand.

proverbs / mishle' 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. .......~ this is not just good advice for their youngers years, it's also a correctional investment for their future against the adversary.

proverbs / mishle' 22:15, Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him .......~ this is more wisdom and teaching for the parent to correct the child from the adversary that not only want to be the hand that rocks the cradle, but also wants to rock the child's world!

proverbs / mishle' 23:13-14, Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. 14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. .......~ even more instruction for responsible parents that are concerned with their child's long-term well being, - that correcting the child will help him and not hurt him.

Mark 9:42-43, "....and whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched" .......~ these are strong words of warning from Yahushua to anyone that would misdirect or mislead any child that believes in him, ......including h'shatan and his minions!

hebrews / ibrym 12:5-9, And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of YHWH, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Master loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, Elohym dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? .......~ there is even instruction here for adults to remind them that they need be chastened by the father YHWH to keep them on track and to deliver them from corruption of the GOD of THIS WORLD that wants to rock them to destruction!

Once upon a time there was instruction from a collection of books called the "torah" that have been cast down by h'shatan and his followers because his followers can't take instruction from on high, for example: shmote / exodus 21:15, "....And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death" and also read w'yqra / leviticus 20:9, "....For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him" ........~ these laws properly applied would surely cause the youth today to re-think their behaviour! - and properly understood -> Yahushua said those that do the will of the Father are your Mother, etc..., - so smiting or cursing any torah obedient elders would get your contract cancelled, ......selah

And let's NOT overlook YHWH's plan for keeping h'shatan influenced rebellious youth out of the tribes of Israel, we read in debarym / deut. 21:18-21, If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. ........~ this is purposeful for a "just" society, but State run Children's Protective Agencies would have a nervous breakdown trying to tell YHWH how illegal this is, ....yeah, like he give a @#!$&! (darn).

If we sit and "think outside the box" for a minute, we can actually see the hand that is rocking a lot of the cradles and influencing the babies is a wicked one ( no wonder there is so much infant and child molestation - both physical and mental! ). Proverbs 20:11 alerts us to observe youth behaviour, and can see that the infants grow up just enough to walk and talk and are then directed by the adversay to manipulate their parents and dictate the entire household. We see them complaining and dictating what they will and won't eat, ~ dictating what they will and won't wear, ~ dictating what time they think they should go to bed, ~ dictating what toys or electronic gadgets they must have, ~ dictating who they want to hang out with, ~ dictating where they want to go to socialize, ~ dictating what kind of grades they think they should be allowed to bring home,~ dictating how much allowance they feel they should receive, etc...

Plainy stated: unfortunately h'shatan is the GOD of THIS WORLD and unfortunately it's his hand controlling many of the youth. If the dillusional family members of today still think their hand rocks the cradle and rules the world then they need to expain: If your hand that rocks the cradle is influencing or allowing this much damage, what the hell is your problem? ( maybe you need to get your hand off the cradle and back into torah! ). Just look around at the past infants that used to be babies that are now the very youths bringing wicked behavior in today's streets and residential areas, ( not to mention many secret places or even college dorms, etc.) is this all the good influence YOU through YOUR HANDS could muster?

                           again: WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WANT'S TO TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS?

( also "IF" the children are the blessing they are supposed to be, then please explain proverbs 10:22, ....selah )

Food for thought: Obviously many modern parents don't have the wisdom or courage to slap the GOD of THIS WORLD's hand, and demand he keeps his hand off their children's cradle as well as out of their lives period, so we must tell those parents or guardians to >>> STRENTHEN YOUR HAND!

Conclusion: a cradle is where a child rest, ....and that rest should be in YHWH through Yahushua, thats who rules OUR world, ....NOW ROCK THAT!

That was so very well said Elder Shmanu YAH-I agree with you wholeheartedly.  Looking at the conditions of this world, a great majority of people have lost their sense of decency, morality, etc.; everything that is wrong is fully acceptable and to do right is considered old fashion and outdated.  Parents are allowing their children to have full control and they have no discipline whatsoever.  Based on what I see, those parents are afraid to give correction and want to be friends with their children.  The fruits of their lack of labor has manifested into being destructive  for the upcoming generations.
