Yahushua brings sight to the blind ... still Today

shalom mishpacha, baruk h'shem YHWH ! . I pray all is well or getting there with you and yours.

In this short message I'd like to deal with a fuller understanding of John chapter 9 dealing with the method, ability and purpose of Yahushua to make those unable to see \ perceive all or most of their lives to gain their "sight".

This chapter begins with a dialogue of why was the man blind in the first place, was it his own fault or his parents sin being effected on him? (vs. 9:2). Yahushua made it plain: "Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but that the works of Elohim should be made manifest in him". Yahushua also articulated the understanding in verse 5: "When I am in the world, I am the light of the world" re-affirming what was writen earlier in John chapter 1:4-9.
Now we get to the not-so-understood actions recorded in vs.6-7: When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and anointed his eyes with the clay, 7 and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went away therefore, and washed, and came seeing.. It is simple for some to see the relevance of his spittle, ... although it sounds unclean or gross it's just the opposite, What comes out of the annointed one's mouth is truth, light and deliverance for those that will receive.

We also read that he spat in the ground, this is a sort of re-creation of what was first manifested (Read Gen. 2:6-7). Man was made the the dust of the earth after the mist (moisture) went up from it. So we see a restoration coming from the method of old. After the spittle was mixed with the earth (from which man was originally formed) it became a clay that he then annointed his eyes with (not a oil annointing). So we see here the ability of Yahushua to bring sight \ light to the world just as he stated earlier. He then gave an important instruction that means more than get the clay out your face but a instruction to "go wash" in verse 7 ( showing the earthly is whats in your way) and foward to verse 11 in which the blind man states only then after the washing did he receive his sight. This shows even then from that blind man all the way to us today we must cleanse ourselves so that we can see the wonderful works of YHWH!

It's now easier to understand that ANYTHING coming from the mouth of h'mashiac can only benefit man in ways nothing else can. Now moving on we see that this was another one of those shabat day healings (vs.14), Now it was the sabbath on the day when Yahshua made the clay, and opened his eyes, that seemed to trouble his critics mainly the Pharisees that whined  "This man is not from Elohim, because he keepeth not the sabbath" < as though that was their true concern ... can anybody say jealousy? If you dont believe they were jealous read vs.18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight, and even then they still didn't want to hear it.

His ability to bring sight to the blind from out his mouth was so disturbing to them that when the newly sighty man told them what we read in vs. 32 "Siince the world began it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind." .....- and they got real salty towards him. In verse 34-35 we read after they cast the blind man out Yahushua asked the man if he believed on the "Son of ELOHYM" that he revealed in vs. 37 "Thou hast both seen him, and he it is that speaketh with thee". (completely blowing away the misnomer that Yahushua never verbally admitted he is the son of ELOHYM ). it is then recorded in vs. 38 the man said "Master, I believe".

If we back up to chpt. 8:12 while at the mount of olives he told them: "... I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life" In reading this short message have you now understood that whatever comes out h'mashiac's mouth whether breath, word or spittle, it's all profittable to those that truly believe that they may receive their sight \ understanding after they cleanse themselves and should take their testimony to those still in darkness

..... shalom and YHWH bless
