YOUR comfort zone

shalom mishpacha, "All praises honor and glory continually to the Most High YHWH" our creator, our sustainer and from where all fruitful blessings come, and baruka h'bo beh'h'shem YHWH ..... blessed the coming in the name of YHWH -> YAHushua.

In this particular and very brief inculcation I'd like us to seriously examine another issue that vexes some of us and our loved ones, the overall unprofitable behaviour of: seeking learning truth and directives of the Most High YHWH, embracing it for a season - then returning to traditional wickedness and pagan behaviour because thats what we have been acustomed to and are COMFORTABLE with.

In the ibryt / hebrew vocab the word for comfort is "n'chm" or as we write "nacham" (Strong's 5164 & 5164), - so we should understand names like nahamYah & nahamiYah plainly state: YAH comforts & YAH comforts me.

Many fail to sincerely understand and embrace this reality of the true source of comfort (YHWH) so instead they revert back to the ideology "Just give me what I want and I already know how to be comfortable!" ....this type of mindset and spiritual corruption runs rampant in every continent on the face of this earth but that shouldn't suprise us knowing who the "GOD" of this world is. If mankind is truly Elohym's greatest creation, then surely the adversary's focus should be to destroy that creation every chance he gets - by ANY means necessary! Again we should hold on to the wisdom and instruction given to us by James in chapter 4 verse 7-8, "...Submit yourselves therefore to Elohym, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to Elohym, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded". ......- this in itself is NOT a difficult task IF you have a true heart to serve YHWH, ....not to mention this will certainly put you in the correct "comfort zone".

Remember a great servant of YHWH by the name Moshe? remember what it said about him leaving his "comfort zone" for a greater cause than self? It is written in Ibrym / Hebrews 11:24-25, By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 25 Choosing rather to SUFFER AFFLICTION with the people of Elohym, than to ENJOY the PLEASURES of sin for a season; .......- have you done this in this day and time?, - walked away from traditional comfort to truly serve YHWH?

There are many scriptures pertaining to renewing your mind and heart so we can go before Abba YHWH the way he deserves but why don't we always apply them? Remember what was given to YeremiYahu / JeremiYah to warn us?, he showed us in 17:10, "I YHWH search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings" . ......- and confirmed to us in Revelations 2:23 even dealing with the modern day false prophetess Jezebel types, ".....and I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works". ......- proof positive that if our hearts and minds are not right with YHWH he will see it and deal with us accordingly! ...... so lets not waste our time trying to fool he that CAN'T be fooled, just so we can remain in our own little world of filth just because we may feel comfortable there.

Another aspect we have to look at pertaining to why we may want to sit stagnant is possibly and probably laziness or slothfulness. We were given advise to examine in mishle'/ proverbs 15:19, The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain. ......- just like in proverbs 13:15 maybe one of the very reasons folks lifes always seem to be full of drama inside and outside the home - they are NOT putting in enough righteous work! Also lets look at mishle' 26:13-16, "the slothful man saith, There is a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets. 14 As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed. 15 The slothful hideth his hand in his bosom; it grieveth him to bring it again to his mouth. 16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason ". .......- he is well articulating that the lazy have a excuse for almost everything!, and the word wiser in vs.16 "chkam" can be rendered as skilled or "shrewd" - and we know from experience that the lazy are shrewd in their own dillusional minds and full of excuses and will debate anyone challenging them to change.

Now lets look directly into what of one of Yahushua's strongmen ~ Kepha aka Peter had to say about those that want to remain in error. In his second epistle chapter 2:21-22 he articulated: "......for it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire" .......- seems self-explanitory and easy to understand on the surface but if we examine deeply the analogy,

we would then have to ask: why would a dog return to their own vomit?

1) Firstly: If a dog threw up something - thats proves that whatever was inside him wasn't supposed to be there! ....it was disturbing his system and wasn't proper nutrition. Just as the religious systems of this world is NOT proper nutrition and must be thrown out - and even some that do embrace torah incorectly teach salvation is still of the law and not through h'mashiach Yahushua, ... ALL this upsets the body of any spiritual creature and MUST be expelled.

2) Secondly: The dog ( not knowing he is a unclean beast ) went back to re-consume what was thrown out because he is the one that ingested it in the first place and lacking wisdom is driven to ignore his own body's signals ...... can you say glutton?

We also then have to ask: why would a sow return to the mire?

1) Firsty: A sow ( caring less it is a unclean beast ) can't appreciate a washing or cleaning of any kind, it doesn't even make sense to that animal! - just like many carnal-minded don't understand the "tabal" (Strong's 2881) immersing / cleansing that John the baptist perfomed to the believers, as well as on Yahushua himself. Not to mention we need a cleansing / renewing of the mind ourselves constantly to remain clean.

2) The sow itself feels much more comfortable coated with the gunk of the mire because without the filth of the ground or land - it feels naked and or exposed like many feel when you try to hose off the filthy traditions of this world, ....how sad.

*If you or you know someone that reflects the same behaviour of these animals then certainly some cleaning-up must be done!*

It's high time we ALL stop concerning ourselves with our own realm of comfort through mis-leading traditions just because we have history with it - and instead step out on the water like Peter tried to ( MattiYahu 14:29-13 ), but let us NEVER take our eyes of Yahushua so that we may get to where we are trying to go (1st Cor. 2:9) >>> to YHWH's comfortable place he has prepared for his chosen. If Yahushua himself decided to stay comfortably where he is right now ->>> at the right hand of the father ( the most comfortable place in all existance ), we all would be in a world of trouble! .... but for our sake he is willing to leave that place of comfort so he can come and redeem us and share that place with us as he told us in John 14:2-3, ".....In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" .......- YES - he will do that for us! .... todah and haleluYAH
