A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

Ayob aka Job ... why so persecuted?

shalom alychem aka peace be upon all, but mainly: ALL praises, honor and glory to the only deserving which is the most high YHWH!!! and we must not forget: "baruka ha bo b'shem YHWH"- "blessed is your coming in the name of YHWH" @ Yahushua!.

I sincerely pray all is well or you should know assuredly it will be soon.

In this very short but overdue correction, I feel it very necessary to "go in" on another common pathetic rendering of another book in our manuscript, the old book of Ayob - but that you probably know as the book of "Job".

Anyone who has read anything I write should know that I make it my point to avoid being "Captain obvious" because I like to "think outside the box" but NEVER outside the scriptures, and I will again pertaining to Job ........and believe me this won't take long!

As always I first like to examine people, places and things correctly in the ancient Shemetic languages like we all should for a correct understanding and I found out that the name "Job" actually came from Ayob and means: ayab/ aw-yab' a primitive root; to hate (as one of an opposite tribe or party); to be an enemy, to be hostile towards (Strong's 340), while some others use another definition: "where is my abba" (Strong's 347), or "he seeks abba" (Brown-Driver-Briggs lexicon), So right off the top we see his name was a forecast or anti-type of things to come.

I have a controversy with the many mouthy teachers that lack scholarship and their many errant mouthy teachings, so again I feel it's imperative that I straighten some things out for those that seek a perfect understanding, ...... so HERE WE GO!

The book of Job is broken down into 42 chapters and we all should have read the book or heard it read to us by now - and that could take hours depending on how fast or slow you read and meditate on it. What I want to do is get to the point of the matter that most of the so-called "scholars" missed again. After reading this entire account you may feel relieved and encouraged and at the same time confused, wondering why the Most High YHWH allowed all this drama on this man's life, after all - the man did live right and eschewed evil because he feared Elohym as recorded in Job 1:1, There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared Elohim, and eschewed evil.

Now you really should ponder why would YHWH allow confusion and remove peace from this man's existence?  Some still foolishly believe due to wayward teachings that h'shatan tricked or conned YHWH into a "bet" over Job, .....really?  I mean really???  Well let's finally get that cleared up so we can go to the "head of the class" for understanding.

If we read in context the whole account it shows us several things, like it really is a old book, but how can we even prove that? Well if we read what's there we see that Job was a wealthy man of substance as recorded in chapter 1:2-3, >>> And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. 1:3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. ........~ now you may not think this points to the age of the book, BUT THINK AGAIN! -> This book is so old that the Great and well renown Job didn't even have MONEY!, no mention of gold, silver or any type precious stones. At That time the only people that had access to gold and silver were Princes as we read in chapter 3:15, "Or with princes that had gold, who filled their houses with silver". ........~ so NO MONEY was floating around him yet - so that had to be long long ago. Then you also have read that after Job was restored aka "freed" and had his second family he lived at a time when men lived longer, in this case a additional 140 years as we saw in 42:16, After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations. ......~ this would make him older than Moses (120 yrs) or Jacob (147 yrs).

Now we also need to clear up some KJV confusion and error in the account of Job before we continue, In the first chapter at 1:8 the KJV shows:
And YHWH said unto Satan, "Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth Elohim, and escheweth evil?" .....~ but in a more accurate Young's literal translation chapter 1:8 shows: And YHWH saith unto the adversary, "Hast thou set thy heart against MY servant Job because there is none like him in the land, a man perfect and upright, fearing God, and turning aside from evil?" .....~ so we see a difference between "consider" vs. "set thy heart against" aka >>> jealous!

learn: In chapter 1 verse 5 we need to understand there is a proper way to BLESS and a proper way to WORSHIP with proper sacrifices - as opposed to improper ways like his sons did by NOT using burnt offering but only blessing (not cursing as we see in most translations) YHWH in their hearts / minds.

Then we also need to clear up some KJV confusion and error in the second chapter when we see a dialogue between Job and his wife that need be reported correctly - After all manners of calamity hit their family as is recorded in 2:7-10,

So went Satan forth from the presence of YHWH, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown. 2:8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. 2:9 Then said his wife unto him, "Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse Elohim, and die". 2:10 But he said unto her, "Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of Elohim, and shall we not receive evil? (bad)" In all this did not Job sin with his lips. .......~ here it is recorded she lost faith like foolish people do >>> true, but it is also recorded she stated for her husband to just "curse" Elohym? ........WRONG! - In our shemetic language it's: brk alhym w' mt or pronounced: baruk Elohym w' mut, or in today's English it's: bless Elohym and die, ......so she was just telling him to prepare for a soon upcoming mortality - by blessing the Most High for the blessed life he had enjoyed till now, >>> she NEVER stated or intended "curse" in the first place.

learn: anytime you see bless used as cursed, it's because the translators and even those compiling Strong's or Vine's concordances didn't use a lexicon, so they didn't understand the intent of: PROPER blessing (good) vs. IMPROPER blessings (bad) aka cursing. If you have ANY doubts at all go re-read Leviticus chapter 10:1-2, >>> And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before YHWH, which he commanded them not. 10:2 And there went out fire from YHWH, and devoured them, and they died before YHWH. ........~ this also proves there is a proper way to BLESS and a proper way to WORSHIP, - as opposed to improper ways. .........selah

note: If you don't know the difference between blessing and curses by now, why are you trying to read Deuteronomy 28th chapter ??? .........selah

( this is why I say it's time for our scholarship to increase. )

Now let's get some clear understanding of: WHY Job of all people? Because most don't truly realize WHY Job lived as structured as he did, ->he did it for a reason that DID NOT impress YHWH at all! Quiet as it's kept, and it's kept quiet because the "scholars" failed again to understand and teach that: Job ONLY eschewed ( abstained from, avoided ) evil because he FEARED TROUBLE !!!, now for confirmation of this lets read Job 3:25-26, "For the thing which I GREATLY FEARED is come upon me, and that which I WAS AFRAID OF is come unto me". .......~ here Job is not stating he is a coward, he is simply stating he did and would do anything to keep trouble out of HIS life, and the main problem with that is he didn't live by FAITH, ...he only lived by FEAR! - and obviously not a righteous FEAR of Elohym but a FEAR of tribulation! ( and why never any mention of love for YHWH? ) ......... selah.

Then we see in 3:26 he attempts to justify himself, "I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came". .......~ meaning: Job didn't play it safe in life by hiding, also he worked hard constantly to appease Elohym, and also he lived and verbally proclaimed his dedication, .....but obviously all for not.

Now here is the BIGGEST reason YHWH let the h'shatan get a shot at Job:

We see in Job 2:11 when his three so-called friends: Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite showed up and started bloviating after their 7 day fast with Job, their verbal acrobating was certainly a dead give-a-way. We can read on and on and on and on, but when we finally get finished we will realize - WTH? >>> Job continually talked ABOUT the Most High, >>> but He didn't talk TO THE MOST HIGH !

Job spent a lot of his time verbalizing and sacrificing to some type of Elohym he heard about up there somewhere in the heavens but he wasn't sure who. As we fast forward we see YHWH introduce himself to Job so he could finally stop guessing, in Job 38:1 all the way to 40:2, Then YHWH answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 38:2 "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding". .......~ and this continues all the way to chapter 40:2 as YHWH demanded Job speak TO HIM as opposed to talking ABOUT HIM!

Finally after the direct communication between them, Job was restored because he now had a personal relationship with YHWH which he should have petitioned for before all the calamity was allowed. We then read in chapter 42 Job finally could relate to a tangible Almighty Power because he manifested himself to set Job straight, In Job 42:1-6 we read, Then Job answered YHWH, and said, 42:2 "I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 42:3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. 42:4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. 42:5 >>> I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. 42:6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes". ........~ here we see Job admits that he previously only heard of YHWH, but now he no longer has to blindly rely on hearsay because he sees YHWH for himself now.

note: If we really think about it, centuries later the pharisees back in their time of power, like the fake Jews today also talk about the Most High a lot, but when did you EVER hear of Him talking to them? ...............well ???

translation: NO personal relationship !!!

Let's stick our noses back in torah for a minute and examine what made Noah so special to YHWH. In b'reshyth / Genesis 6:8-9 we read: But Noah found favour in the eyes of YHWH. 6:9 These are the generations of Noah, Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah WALKED WITH Elohim. .......~ how can anyone walk with Elohym like Noah did if they don't have the proper personal relationship? ( please re-read Amos 3:3 ).

We can also revisit the account recorded in Acts chapter 17 that Shaul aka Paul had to straighten them gentile heathens out about worshiping blindly,

Acts 17:22-31, Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said: "Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription "TO THE UNKNOWN MIGHTY ONE" - Whom therefore YE IGNORANTLY WORSHIP, him declare I unto you. 17:24 YHWH that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Ruler of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 17:27 That they should seek Him, if possibly they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of YHWH, we ought not to think that the Most High is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. 17:30 And the times of this ignorance YHWH winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead". ..........~ even though this was centuries later, it shows Job wasn't the only one that made blind sacrifices and just threw prayer up errantly!

As we wrap this up we see YHWH made Job a real priest to officiate over the sin offerings for his bloviating and foolish "friends" as we read in chapter 42:7-9, And it was so, that after YHWH had spoken these words unto Job, YHWH said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath. 42:8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job". 42:9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as YHWH commanded them: YHWH also accepted Job.

Then finally we see AFTER Job got his personal relationship with YHWH and performed his Priestly duties, that YHWH reversed the sentence of punishment that h'shatan was allowed to put on him, (so unfortunately Job had a personal relationship with h'shatan first) 42:10 And YHWH turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also YHWH gave Job twice as much as he had before. ........~ it is recorded as a "captivity" because we read many years later after this account that only the heavenly Father or his sent forth son can truly release you as recorded in Luke 4:16-19, And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 4:18 "The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the CAPTIVES, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of YHWH" ........~ and also let's not forget what's written in John 8:36, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed". .......~ that's why Yahushua warned the masses so this type captivity situation would never happen to them, as in John 10:10, >>> "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy < I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". .......nuff said

learn: As in the times of Job, YHWH still does test us with sickness and affliction ->>> to see if our sickness disturbs us more than our SINS, ......selah

SO LET'S SUM THIS BRIEF MESSAGE UP:

1) JOB ONLY LIVED RIGHTEOUSLY DUE TO FEAR OF TROUBLE

2) JOB BLINDLY TALKED "ABOUT" ELOHYM AND NOT TO HIM

3) JOB DIDN'T SEEK A "PERSONAL" RELATIONSHIP WITH YHWH

                              ( I told y'all this wouldn't take long )

So if you want to go read the book of Job all over again, by all means: KNOCK YOURSELF OUT! - but if you just want the intended understanding just scroll up and read this again, it's a lot quicker and straight to the points that most teachers and students miss. .......and no time for bloviating here!

again: we should NEVER stop learning because life NEVER stops teaching.

Another thing we should have learned from our own experiences is: No doubt pain is a part of life, but suffering is a OPTION, >>> so OPT OUT by walking personally with the heavenly Father and let HIM comfort you.
