can't light em up? - WATTS the problem?

shalom alechem, - peace unto you and "praises and glory to the Most High YHWH alone" - our King everlasting and from where all true wisdom and knowledge comes, - baruk h'shem! and baruka ha'bo b'shem YHWH ->>> Yahushua

In this brief message that seems more of a challenge I'd like us to examine IF our our light is shining as bright as it should be and how do we know?

First off before we get into that answer we must understand that the purpose of physical light or pronounced "aur" in hebrew is a very old creation of energy as we read in b'reshyth 1:3-4, "and Elohym said, "Let there be light": and there was light. 4 And Elohym saw the light, that it was good: and Elohym divided the light from the darkness. ......- our creator YHWH created this thing called light from his treasure house for a reason: to make darkness flee so his creations of this planet can see, - many teachers overs the years know the ALLmighty is a spirit and he doesn't need fleshly organs, - but they have failed to teach us YHWH himself never has needed light to see.... we do! That word for light in various forms is in the 66 book KJV about 295 times so we dont have to try and recount every usage but what we must look at today is our own personal application of spiritual light.

One of many references we have to draw from we can see from the torah in shmote aka "exodus" we see that YHWH CAN and WILL provide light even in the darkest of times for his chosen people even during his plague as we read in 10:21-23, .....and YHWH said unto Moses, "Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt". 22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: 23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but ALL the children of Israel had LIGHT in their dwellings. .......- our creator used Moshe to do a thing never done before and hasn't been done since to indicated who is really running things! He showed that all those not of his chosen have in the past and today do still walk in darkness - but his people will always have light. I am in no wise suggesting we should try and have power over the sun, moon, or earth, wind, fire or water like those types examples shown in Egypt - but where is the real power showing of what light we do have?..... do we really even shine?

Remember what Yahushua stated in MattiYahu 5:14-17?, "....Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven". .......- our mashiach is expounding on some things some obviously missed, like there is a importance to works >>> to glorify YHWH - not ones self!, and the only way people can see our works is IF we shine - so don't give them the option to ignore you, and IF you do have enough fire to light a candle, please dedicate your life to making sure NO ill wind (aka evil ruach) comes by and bolws it out! ..... so lets stand up and glorify, @ YHWH's people!!!

Another question you may also have to ask yourself is: why don't those around you see your light and come to it? ( because even mindless insects go towards real light ). One of the reasons we have learned from in the past was because the Most High will himself cause those that don't belive in the light HE sends to be sentenced to go through life visually challenged by the doings of the "god of this world". We read what Shaul wrote to those in Corinth pertaining to the matter, we should remember reading in 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4, ".....But if our good message be hid, it is hid to them that are perishing: 4 In whom the "god of this world" hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of mashiach, who is the image of Elohym, should shine unto them". .......- those that don't believe in Yahshua and his REAL message ( psalms 119:105 ) brought it on themselves to be put in the hands of the enemy and therefore getting their entire mind blinded ( it's soooooo dark in there! ). Remember what a prophet YeshiYahu aka IsaiYah was instructed to tell us? we read in YeshiYahu 8:20, "....to the law AND to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is NO light in them". .......- those that think they understand scripture MUST embrace the law / instruction (torah) as well as the testimony ( h'mashiach) lest they will have NO light or dawning in their future!

In the physical realm of things light has been measured by units called "lumens" - which is a measurement of light output ( brightness ). It refers to the amount of light emitted by one candle that falls on one square foot of surface located at a distance of one foot from the candle. Traditionally, lumens have been the benchmark of a lamps ability to make things grow ( hint - hint ). Another measurement that many misunderstand is "watts" which is the lights measure of power or energy consumed NOT produced. If we don't or can't produce the light needed to shine then we really have a problem ->>> theres a POWER failure .....oh oh!

Another point of fact I'd like to point out and for us ALL to take seriously in our desire to better our relationship with the father is that most of us are guilty of breaking scipture whether we admit it or not, ......and Yahushua reminded us that the scripture cannot be broken! So what are we guilty of you ask? ->>> we are guilty of not being mighty or powerful enough once we have received the word of YHWH!.

In hebrew the word "el" means mighty or powerful ( Strong's 410 ) so the "title" ELohym is plural for ALL mighty and ALL powerful, a title which can only be attributed to YHWH, - but the issue I'm presenting is we are to be what was expressed by melek Dawid in t'hillym / psalms 82:6, I have said, "Ye are mighty ones; and all of you are children of the most High" ......- Yahushua even reminded them as well as us in Yahchanan / John 10:34-35, Yahushua answered them, "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are mighty ones? 35 If he called them mighty ones, unto whom the word of ELOHYM came, and the scripture cannot be broken"; .......- this is also a reference to shmote 21:6 describing the mighty ones or "righteous judges". So now we can understand if we are to be what we claim to be then we must generate enough power to light up the path for us as well as those around us. Here is wisdom: did you ever notice the once a bright light is turned on in a dark place there is NO law as to who can and who cannot utilize it?......that applies to the spiritual as well as the physical.

I would be remiss if I failed to mention one more aspect: as time passes light either increases or decreases.... how about yours?
