A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom mishpacha, baruk h'shem YAHWAH melek olam!!! I pray all is well and you are strengthening your walk in YAH. In this particularly short blog I wanted us to re-examine our claim of belief ('aman) in the Most High. It is defined through Strong's Concordance #539 as: properly- to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain, also: assurance, believe, bring up, establish, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust. as we can see there are several similar definitions all leading to the same directive which is a ACTION! We more often than not know of people or even ourselves that at one time has been about lip service but not action. How often have you seen family members and friends that profess their love and dedication to their higher power (by whatever name) but still show themselves by ACTIONS to be carnal, worldly, fleshly or heathens? We often claim we know YAH but don't even the worldly tell us "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove" ... now we understand the ole adage "action speaks louder than words". Most of us have also been taught since childhood to "Believe in God" so we went around claiming belief but in which "God", the ELOHYM on his throne in heaven or the "God" of this world? We were instructed to believe so we can escape damnation and hellfire - OK scare tactics at times do work but as we look around the Cities and States and Country wherever we live ask yourself: DID IT ACTUALLY WORK? ..... NOT!!! This question only reinforces the reality that we have been adamant in our carnal action but weak in our faithful action of belief. We saw throughout the scriptures what true faith has done for our ancestors from Enoch, Noah, Abraham (called the father of faith) etc. so theres no need to revisit that right here but what we ashamedly do need to revisit is everything ever created with the ability to communicate can profess the existance of YAH. In one one the oldest books of the scripture I'yob aka Job (meaning persecuted) even the adversary presented himself along with the sons of Elohym showing he was also subordinate to YAH, we read in Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of Elohym came to present themselves before YAHWAH, and Satan came also among them. This shows without any doubt that even h'shatan knows he had to slither his inferior self in just to come before the Most High's presence, now what did h'shatan's action show? ..... it showed even he believed (not just lip service! ). In the new testament we should have all read Luke 19:39-40 ...And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, "I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out". and in James chapter 2:14-26 pointing out among other things that faith without works is dead but lets pay paticular attention to James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one Eloh; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble". we can read this and understand even though it sounds like sarcasm James was making a strong point against those with lip service that just verbally claim belief in the Most High YAH, he plainly states even demons believe! Now here comes the convicting question: are you as a child of the Most High that claims you love him gonna be outdone by demons or even h'shatan? .... whoa! So you see anybody can believe ... BIG deal! but to what degree? Apostle Paul made a statement long ago recorded in Acts 14:22 "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Elohym". how much are you as a child of the Most High willing to endure through action as opposed to talk? (or do you still harbor fears?) more importantly ask yourself: Do my everyday ACTIONS reflect my belief? We can remember back to our early childhoods when we were taught to believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny etc. and never did we doubt them and also remember how passinate we were about those times of the year to embrace them, so you see the Most High can't be impressed with some of our beliefs because obviously we will believe anything. I once read "people will believe anything if you whisper it to them or if it's scandelous". Let us examine ourselves and be sure the same soul that believes in foolishness is not the same soul that believes in q'dosh truth. One more time lets look at some definitions of faith: properly, to build up or support; to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, morally to be true or certain, assurance, believe, bring up, establish etc. if these definitions describe your walk, then you truly believe... if they don't then we still got some work to do before we claim "I Believe In YAH" ..... selah, shalom
