YAHUSHUA SPEAKS from BEGINNING to END

A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom alychem - peace to all.  "ALL praises and glory to the most high YHWH !" and "baruka habo b'shem YHWH"-  blessed is your coming in the name of YHWH.

I pray all is well with you and yours.
In this edifying correspondence I'd like to look at a seriously misleading philosophy and foolish position many of us have received from the world ( the kind we have been warned to stay away from ) like apostle Paul told those that would listen centuries ago in his epistle to those in Colosse, Colossian 1:2, "To the saints and faithful brethren in mashiach which are at Colosse:" so obviously he wasn't addressing just everyone but in Col. 2:8 he warned them: "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after mashiach". ......- perfectly stated!

This passage is particulary important because it points to philolosophy which is a "person's outlook on life" and vain deceit which is a "futile deception" which men have long-time traditionally held to.
Now let me get to the issue that has perverted many a person's understanding, the worldy statement "You Only Live Once".  We with understanding know this is the chanting and position of every misled heathen that ever lived but unfortunately it also have engulfed some of those that have embraced the truth as well.

When we were younger we would do just about anything fearlessly be cause we knew we would bend but not break so we would embrace that philosophy "you only live once", so we would eat or drink anything, act any ole kind of way, go anywhere, hang around with almost anybody, accept most any dare, etc. because we were trying to get the most out of life .... lol.  It was hinted to us through another man's experiences in 1st Cor. 13:11, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things".  ......- well?

If we have truly grown up in the spirit we can see the "only live once" philosophy is no doubt a construct of h'shatan himself deceiving the masses to live like a heathen all your physical life because there is nothing to live for after this. I'm sure I'm not the only messianic believer that have heard teens or adults say "you only live once" without correcting them right there on the spot and now we need to address why. Have we become so complacent we won't even articulate out of the many passages at least one of them to clear up the foolish philosophy?

Lets begin in the tanak aka "old testament" in one of the oldest books recorded - Job. It is recorded from Job the righteous man who was perfect and upright in the eyes of YHWH in chapter 19:25-26  "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see Elohym". ......- and also as Hannah stated in 1st. Samuel 2:6,  "YHWH killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up".. (note the order that she stated) how come the saducees didn't understand this? and how come we don't hear this spoken much if at all from the non-messianics? - sounds to me knowledge and understanding from millenium past shows we can live more than once.

Also if we study in the torah we should remember reading in b'midbar / numbers 24:15-19,  "......And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days". 15 And he took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: 16  He hath said, which heard the words of YHWH, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: 17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. 18  And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. 19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city" ........- Balaam was crystal clear while prophecying with his eyes wide open, that he and many others will see the Master in the latter days.

Staying in the tanak lets look at what a real prophet was made to understand, the prophet that many claim they understand even tho he didn't understand many of the things himself.  In Daniel 12:1-2 we read, 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.  ........- This certainlly shows there will be a resurrection and everlasting life to the righteous in end times fully negating the philosophical foolishness.

We can also look at passages from the new testament for confirmation, for example mashiach spoke what was is recorded in John 11:25,  "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" ........ this Yahushua spoke just before he called Lazarus from his grave to prove whoever belived in him would certain live again! in verses 11:43-44, And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth". 11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Yahushua saith unto them, "Loose him, and let him go". ........- now of the multitude of church goers we have in our cities, states and countries why has this account not straightened them out yet?

There are many other passages but lets look at just a few like in Matthew 22:23-32 when the satan influenced Sadducees that don't believe in everlasting life tested Yahushua he pointed out in vs. 29-32: "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of Elohym. 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of  Elohym in heaven. 22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by Elohym, saying, 22:32 I am the Elohym of Abraham, and the Elohym of Isaac, and the Elohym of Jacob? Elohym is not the Elohym of the dead, but of the living". also in Luke 14:12-14 mashiach explained about who to invite to feed: 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, "When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just". .......- sounds like to me the "just" will certainly live more than once! but lets keep going,

it's recorded of mashiach in John 5:26-30, "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation".  .......- looks like to me the "doers of good" will also live again!
lets keep going onto a little of what was written in the Phil. 3:10-11, ...... "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead". here Apostle Paul did articulate his desire to live again as mashiac did live again.

And there is NO reason any bible reader should look away from the book of Revelation which is the revelations to Yahushua, then his malak then to his disciple John on Patmos showing the end results of believers, we see in Revelation 20:4-6,  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Elohym, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with mashiach a thousand years. 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Elohym and of mashiach, and shall reign with him a thousand years. ......- now this drives home the point that there is certainlly more life for those that are worthy - but a harsh judgment due for those that live wickedly and believe not.

Let's be ready and willing to correct anyone the next time you hear the wicked saying: "You only live once" -  the mere utterance of this foolish saying proves how quick we are to recite the twisted manipulations of the adversary but how slowly we are to recite biblical truth and wisdom.

selah .... shalom
