YAHUSHUA SPEAKS from BEGINNING to END

A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

speak softly and DON'T carry a Big stick

shalom mishpacha, baruk h'shem YHWH - weh baruka ha'bo beh' ha'shem YHWH , "blessed is his that comes in the name YHWH" ->>> Yahushua, I pray all is well with you and yours and I am confident things will get even better!

In this attemp at spiritual communication I'd like to revist a point of scriptures we have read but all may not dwell on enough as a example of things to come. The topic is about correctly entering into the final dwelling place of peace of the Most High. We saw a example in the torah in the book we call b'midbar / numbers. In this revisitation we need to look at the Israelites pilgrimage out of Mtzraym aka Egypt as they were headed towards the "promised land".

We have read in numbers chapter 20, Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there. 2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron. 3 And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, "Would Elohym that we had died when our brethren died before YHWH! 4 And why have ye brought up the congregation of YHWH into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there? 5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink". 6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of YHWH appeared unto them.

......- Moses and his brother Aaron had no doubt heard enough from these constantly complaining whiny-babies about their lack of physical lechem ( food ) so they sought instruction on how to remedy this situation, 7 And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, 8 "Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and SPEAK ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock": so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. 9 And Moses took the rod from before YHWH, as he commanded him. 10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, "Hear now, ye rebels; must WE fetch you water out of this rock?" 11 And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

......- we read here even tho the two leaders didn't follow YHWH's instruction that they sought, but he still allowed the provision of water for the Israelites. Many have taught correctly over time that the two irresponsibly tried to take partial credit for this miracle by predicating their announcement with "must WE ......" - as well as the mistake of striking the rock as a sign of frustration and anger ( two charasteristics you absolutely CANNOT have as a earthly leader! ) sounds like maybe they gave way to the old west African proverb "speak softly and carry a BIG stick", anyway continuing >>> 12 And YHWH spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. 13 This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with YHWH, and he was sanctified in them,

......- It was declared by YHWH in vs. 12, theses two men took away his method of being sanctified in the eyes of the multitudes because of their own frustration and dis-belief, and note: this stupid move did not come without a major consequence ->>> your days of leadership are numbered!

And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, >>> STOP! - you mean the rececent disobedient servant / messenger of the most high YHWH had the audacity to send out messengers and expect a favorable response?, ... then tried to give the Edomites a history lesson?..... WOW!

>>> continuing, :"Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us: 15 How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers: 16 And when we cried unto YHWH, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border: 17 Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king’s high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders". 18 And Edom said unto him, "Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword". 19 And the children of Israel said unto him, "We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet". 20 And he said, "Thou shalt not go through". And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand. 21 Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him. ( aka TAKE A HIKE ! )

22 And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor. 23 And YHWH spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying, 24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah. 25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor: 26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there. 27 And Moses did as YHWH commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. 28 And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

The Most High wanted to showed us two things here, 1- mainly: He will NOT make your enemies be at peace with you if you or your leadership is disobedient and 2- also: He didn't want Aaron or any of them buried in that land of the Edomites. Now just imagine how Aaron had to feel when the word came down that he had to go up to Mount Hor (which for him had to be Hor-ible) with his son and be stripped of his priestly garments in the sight of the multitudes and get ready to die, just because of he and his brother Moshe's rebellion,...... what humiliation! - not to mention the emotions Moshe had to be having performing this decree and knowing he has a sentence coming against himself as well. How would you feel if you were either on these two? This obviously is not just a historical account - it is also a warning!

Joshua himself learned a valuable lesson from this and heeded the instruction of YHWH and followed YHWH's command to the letter as we read later in Joshua chapter 6:2-5,

And YHWH said unto Joshua, "See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. 3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. 5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him."

......- Joshua made NO attempt to get a rod or staff to beat down the walls in anger or attempt to glorify himself, but followed directions perfectly! , as we read in verses 16 & 20 16 ...and it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for YHWH hath given you the city. ..... 20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. ......- and YES this is a shadow of things to come if we can compose our overly-ambitious selves down long enough to realize the power of YHWH's word through instruction that h'mashiach will return with a shout to tear down the walls and take over his appointed place.

Now as we look towards our entrance into the everlasting place of YHWH that Yahushua went to prepare, we have to learn from those things of old written as a ensign as explained in 1st. Corintians 10:11,

".......Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come". ......- and know assuredly we must make ourselves worthy to receive that blessing and honor through our faith and obedience. The question of "where is our power today?" has been asked from time to time but the questioners would be better served to address "where is the manifestation of our power and WHO is receiving it?", then if the askers would read the bible with comprehension they would understand that true power only comes from on high and that power that many seek is in the word of YHWH and his word made flesh >>> Yahushua. Yisrael throughout the centuries have failed to embrace the reality that their power is in the word and full obedience to it!

We have had another precious "rock" worth speaking to for centuries - a precious rock more valuable than diamonds or rubies that the most high YHWH wants us all to "speak to" but some non-believers are still too foolish and rebellious to understand this and if you think thats just my opinion lets see what the bible says.

From reading the besorah we know the woman at the well from John chapter 4 certainly had some issues but how about us today? Lets revist the exchange between Yahushua and this loose Samaritan woman. In John chpt. 4 vs. 7-10 we read,

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Yahushua saith unto her, "Give me to drink". 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, "How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans". 10 Yahushua answered and said unto her, "If thou knewest the gift of Elohym, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water".

......- much like Yahushua we can't really be suprised that the Samaritan woman didn't know who he was or have the sense to ask him for water, the "living water", seeing how they were renoun as the foolish people that dwelt at Shechem (Sirach 50:26) but he was setting up a dialogue for a purpose. We then revist verses 11-14, The woman saith unto him, "Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?" 13 Yahushua answered and said unto her, "Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life".

......- a major point NEVER taught or focused on by the multitude of so-called knowledgeable teachers from either pulpit, streetcorner, radio, TV, or internet is: this woman had no idea that she had done something Moshe and Aaron failed to do - she humbley SPOKE to the rock!

Yahushua is that precious "rock" that had come back to quinch our thirst eternally ...... haleluYAH!

We also learned this from the writings of apostle Shaul / Paul in 1st. Corinthians 10:1-4,

"Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that "spiritual Rock" that followed them: and that "Rock" was Mashiach". ......- todah YHWH !!! So we need to realize if a heathen behaving woman like this can interact with the one sent to deliver us, then we also need to embrace and speak to and or about that deliverer responsibly!, .... selah. If only Moshe and Aaron had the composure this woman had they would have been counted worthy to lead the Israelites into the Land promised, thats why I stated that this particular writing was not just scriptural history, but also a warning.

I doubt these two brothers will see the lake of fire for that one trangression, but what about us? As this applies to us today we need to take heed that we might also find ourselves on the outside looking in while awaiting our death judgement because of our lack of obedience to the instruction / torah of the Most High, YES we can find ourselves publically stripped and demoted of any "rank" we have or think we have achieved which is a deserved humiliation if we don't put down that stick of anger or pride, - just keep on and see!. It is also so sad that many that live in the land of promise and even many visitors there miss the whole point, they want to get to the Kotel ha-Ma'aravi aka the "Western wall" and would rather speak to a pile of rocks that can not save them or quench their thirst one bit! .... what a sad SHAME.

Remember what that much loved man of YHWH - Daniel wrote that has been apportioned to chpt. 12 vs. 2,

".....and many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to SHAME and everlasting contempt". ......- this prophecy is also a warning we must acknowledge pertaining to the final ressurection and which side of the eternal "promised land" you might be on.

In the book of Revelation it shows one of the character traits of the "Beast" that he has NO composure what-so-ever if you go back and read Revelation chpt. 13:1-6, - he just can't help himself ! ..... can you?
