The 3 witnesses

In this very brief message I'd like to look into some true testimonies from witnesses we don't pay as much attention to as we should - because many are focused on the two witnesses in Revelation chapter 11, ( and you should hear some of the irresponsible guesses ) You may find it profitable to read "The Apocalypse of Peter" chapter 2 for possible  clarification:  http://www.oup.com/us/companion.websites/ehrman/PDF/LSAoP.pdf

But instead of those two "end-time" witnesses, I'd like to think outside the box and embrace the ruach h'emet aka "spirit of truth" to look at the three "all-time" witnesses.

As normally in these inculcations I'd like to present the words used for both clarification and verification, the word "witness" in the shemetic languange we study is "ad" pronounced "ayd" meaning: a witness; testimony; ( Strong's 5707, from the root 5749 ), and this definition is the opposite of the word "opinion" and it's used as a root for the word "yada" meaning: to know ( from experience ), ....certainly you've heard the expression: yada, yada, yada ~ which is the shemetic presentation of the newer english: yeah I know, I know, I know.

We should remember reading the declaration from Yahushua to the doubters pertaining to his authority back in MattitYahu 28:16-19, 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Yahushua had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Yahushua came and spake unto them, saying, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father (1), and of the Son (2), and of the Holy Spirit (3): 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world, Amen" ......- Yahushua gave them perfect instruction on how to immerse those that are willing to come into the truth of the real record bearing authority, from on high.

Now we can go and see what one of the original the talmadym / disciples that Yahushua preserved the longest ( Yochanon / John ) did write pertaining to the record bearers and witnesses,
1st John 5:5-12, 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Yahushua is the Son of Elohym? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Yahushua h'mashiac; not by water only, but by water AND blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of Elohym is greater: for this is the witness of Elohym which he hath testified of his Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of Elohym hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not Elohym hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that Elohym gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that Elohym hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of Elohym hath not life.......- he articulates easy key points we need to really understand pertaining to our testimony of Yahushua as h'mashiach.

Now lets examine the 3 earthly witnesses that we should embrace:
1st witness) Water and blood afore mentioned also refer to his human entrance (birth) into the material world as written in:
MattiYahu 1:18, 18 Now the birth of Yahushua h'mashiach was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 2:4-7,4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7 And she brought fourth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Galatians 4:4, 4 But when the fulness of the time was come, Elohym sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.

~ There is a worldy saying when things happen such as a riot due to social unrest or a torrential rainstorm due to climate conditions or when a dam breaks from continuous water pressure and that saying goes: "All hell broke loose",..... BUT the spirit of truth has a greater saying when the mashiach's mother, Mary's water broke ( amniotic sac ) during the birth of mashiach, and that saying goes: "ALL HEAVEN BROKE LOOSE!" .....selah ~

 

2nd witness) His immersion (rebirth) in water to receive the ruach h'qadosh / Holy Spirit:
Mark 1:9-11, 9 And it came to pass in those days, that Yahushua came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the SPIRIT like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, "Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased". .......- this immersion was to die of self to the world and be reborn in the spirit, and so it happened out in the open, and he was publicly declared the son of the most high -> by the Most High. ( lets see today's wannabee messiahs mimic that! )

3rd witness) Water and blood also bared record to his painful work on the stake:
John 19:34-35, 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out BLOOD and WATER. 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. .......- his painful exit from humanity by his sacrifice on the stake released blood and water, - and many still watching witnessed this with their own eyes.

So now we have to ask ourselves IF we are really active witnesses on this earth, - because the two witnesses from Revelation chapter 11 we can do nothing about. Can we honestly profess "yada, yada, yada" with behavior to back it up? From another witnessing angle, remember the advice Paul gave to Timothy and all that would listen to him?, In 1st Timothy 6:12 we read: 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses., .......- meaning: we should be diligently working to display faith-based lifestyles in front of the masses so they can likewise be encouraged and bear witness!

Again in 1st John chapter 5:8, And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. .......- now understanding this can you publicly prove you have the spirit from on high?, can you publicly prove you have been reborn and cleansed through his immersion, and do you publicly profess the blood of Yahushua as your way to eternal life?...... if so, may your insight and vision be blessed because the three agree ->>> YOU ARE TRULY A WITNESS!
