YAHUSHUA SPEAKS from BEGINNING to END

A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom l'kulam, baruk h'shem YHWH - melek olam! ....w' baruka h'bo b'shem YHWH ->>> Yahushua! (blessed - the name YHWH - king everlasting) (blessed - your coming in the name YHWH)

I pray all is well and you are strengthening your walk with YHWH.

In this brief inculcation I'd like to address another important issue that a few still struggle with -> sincere CONFESSION. Most of us don't have a problem with confession but may lack the full understanding of why it's so very necessary and you should know by now I like to step away from shallow conventional thinking and get thorough in the letter AND the spirit of YHWH's word.

As we often do for clarity, we have to examine the meaning of the words we utilize, the very word "confess" or in hebrew "ydah" pronounced "yadah" is defined as: a primitive root; used only as denominative literally, to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; physically, to throw (a stone, an arrow) away; to empty the hand. (Strong's 3034), and this term used in it's various forms ( past, present and future ) is in the KJ version 47 times but is only in torah 4 times because they were just learning about it and how to do it, we should remember from reading:

w'yqra / leviticus 5:5, 4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. 5 And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing ......~ this is confession training

w'yqra 16:21, 20 And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: 21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him ALL the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: ......~ this is confession instruction

w'yqra 26:40, 40 IF they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; 41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: 42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. ......~ this is confession benefit

b'midbar / numbers 5:7, 6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against YHWH, and that person be guilty; 7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed. ......~ this is confession directive

Notice how all the torah references to confession are declarations and public actions?, this was intended for all to see because it takes honesty to admit wrong or sin and it takes true humility to publicly show voluntary repentance. The Most High YHWH wants us to conduct ourselves in a way pleasing to him but he knows we can error, - so he wants us to admit our faults humbly and in a way for others to see and hopefully that action will become contagious!
You know how you can talk to someone face to face or sometimes even on the phone and after a long while that person will yawwwwwwnnnnn, guess what hapens to you right aftert that? ....you yawn also! ->>> same principle, the Most High knows If we see person after person after person humble themselves and confess and repent, then we will also, because hopefully that action too can become contagious.

As a witness lets revisit a few out of many passages pertaining to humility and confession:

psalms 32:5, 5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will CONFESS my transgressions unto YHWH; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. ......- this is surely a great example of how to own up to ones behaviour then empty ones self out for the result of forgiveness.

proverbs 28:13, 13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso CONFESSETH and FORSAKETH them shall have mercy. ......- this is surely great advice to stop hiding ones errors but to open-up and come clean and repent to receive the mercy we all need.

MattiYahu 10:32, 32 Whosoever therefore shall CONFESS ME before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. ......- this is surely a great example of what to do to receive everlasting life through our greatest advocate.

Mark 1:4-5, 4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, CONFESSING their sins. ......- this is surely a great example of outward showing of repentance through cleansing - with a support group so no one feels indicted.

Romans 10:9-10, 9 That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy mouth the master Yahushua, and shalt believe in thine heart that Elohym hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION is made unto salvation. ......- this is surely great instruction for one of the greatest reasons for confession >>> SALVATION!

James 4:6, 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, Elohym resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. ......- this is surely great instruction of how NOT to be resisted by YHWH, but instead be embraced and atoned for.

James 5:16, 16 CONFESS your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. ......- this is surely a great advice of how we should be honest with each other and support each other to finally be made whole.

1st Peter 5:5, 5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for Elohym resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. ......- this is surely a great instruction to seek the wisdom of the elders and wrap ourselves in humility so YHWH can wrap us up with his grace.

1st John 1:8-9, 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 IF we CONFESS our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ......- this is surely great instruction to "keep it real" with ourselves and to be worthy to receive forgiveness IF we come clean and confess.

1st John 4:15, 15 Whosoever shall CONFESS that Yahushua is the Son of Elohym, Elohym dwelleth in him, and he in Elohym. ......- this is surely a great revelation that confessing our faith in Yahushua gives us a personal relationship with YHWH .....haleluYAH!

One of my favorite accounts of mass repentance by the children of Yisrael we can observe in the book of NehemiYah chapter 9, on the 24th day of the seventh month - after the Yisaelites found out about "the book of the law" again we see in verses 1-3, 1 Now in the twenty and fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with sackclothes, and earth upon them. 2 And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers. 3 And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of YHWH their Elohym one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped YHWH their Elohym. .......- first they assembled to humbly fast, and then they seperated themselves (qadosh) from the goyim and then publically confessed their sins as well as their father's, ( that may or may not have know torah). They read torah for about 6 hours - and then confessed for another 6 hours how they had transgressed torah and they also publically worshipped their true and living Elohym! ......when will this behaviour happen again? That "million man march" was slickly constructed to worship Allah - NOT GONNA HAPPEN! and christian movements like "promise keepers" keep every pagan observance under the sun that they worship every "sun"day! - NO THANK THEM EITHER !!!

We have also read throughout the scriptures about prideful unrepenting leaders and the damage they brought to themselves as well as those under them but lets just look at two opposing examples that drives the confession point home.
We read back in Daniel chapter 4 how Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and a vision that troubled him about a large tree in the midst of the earth that reached to heaven and how he then called Daniel to interpret, after Daniel gave the interpretation to Nebuchadnezzar, a warning to the Baylonian ruler to break away from his sins - but a year after this discomforting warning he rebelled and forsook what little humility he had and went back to his normality -> Pride.

We read in chapter 4:28-33, 28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. 30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of MY power, and for the honour of MY majesty? 31 While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. 32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. 33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. ......- Ole Nebu couldn't take humility or giving up the pleasures of sin - and then lacking control opened his BIG mouth and got dealt with!. Continuing on we read how the rod of correction can drive anyone to humility!
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? 36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. 37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. ......- Ole Nebu learned a hard lesson about pride and was more than willing to shoot praise and honor out of his mouth to the real ruler >>>YHWH, He learned that confession was the only way to show his humility!

In the bryt h'chdshah or what many call the "new testament" we read in the book of Acts about a husband and wife team that refused to confess their transgression, they didn't understand that "confession is good for the soul". In Acts 5:1-11 we read: 1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto YHWH. 5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Master? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. .......- we have all read this or had this taught to us about the evil of lying to the ruach h'qadosh and holding back money for ones own selfishness, - BUT why don't the teachers properly articulate that these two slicksters had a opportunity to CONFESS their scheme and give up all they were supposed to? .....they actually had a chance to CONFESS but they didn't, ......BAD CAREER MOVE!

There is a good reason for the old saying "confession is good for the soul" and I will articulate that for people of any age, but first lets rewind back a few paragraphs ago when we had to first define what that word "confess" means in the language that we should really care about, >>> The word confess or in hebrew "yadah" is defined as: a primitive root; used only as denominative literally, to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; physically, to throw (a stone, an arrow) away; to empty the hand. (Strong's 3034), ..... how come all the know-it-alls and linguist and wannabe rabbis and so-called sages can't even receive from the ruach h'emet aka "spirit of truth" and teach that: "yadah" which means confess and "yahudah" which means "praise" are words rooted from the same intent! >>> YOU HAVE TO OPEN UP AND CAST OUT ALL OF ONES SELF TO PRAISE THE GREATER -> YHWH! ......see how fraudulant the know-it-alls prove themselves to be?

Why would there ever be a need for YHWH's moad or appoined time: yum h'kippurym aka "day of attonement" if confession wasn't important to YHWH ? ....duh

So we can now understand the real reasons for confession is:

1st - examine ourselves, find our error, admit it and then cast out everything that could cause the error so we can go before the Father in a way he deserves.

2nd - be a example to those watching you and let them know we have also struggled and also to re-affirm that they have a spiritually ordained support group, ....this is nothing to be undertaken alone!

3rd - confession brings relief because we have "let go" of and unloaded the stronghold and burden of sin and grab onto YHWH's grace and mercy ( great way to loose weight! ).

4th - to cast out, unload and cleanse ourselves of any trace of stubborness or pride so that we can righteously Praise YHWH, ( he resist the proud! - remember? )

5th - to prepare ourselve for sincere repentance, just as pride goes before destruction ~ confession goes before repentance. ( it's preparatory! )

ALL THESE ARE GOOD FOR THE SOUL!!!

If sin is the transgression of YHWH'S law, then we MUST confess that we have trangressed and he is faithful to forgive us ( 1st John 1:9 ). Has the majority of the inhabitants of this world admitted that they trangressed his laws / torah? .... if not, then they have NEVER purposefully confessed from within and consequently have no concern nor desire to bring forth any fruits worthy or repentance!

Shalom w’ HALELUYAH!

Before I began reading this, I asked THE FATHER for understanding and to bestow blessings upon you, for you as one of HIS shepherd’s, make HIS WORDS clear to understand- HALELUYAH!   As enlightening as these writings are, not many reply back. I wonder why!!!  Maybe it’s because we see ourselves in this mirror and we don’t like what we see. Hmmm -Yeah, lets be real!  This is a serious teaching ‘bout ‘Confession’.  Asking THE FATHER FOR FORGIVENESS is one thing (in privacy of prayer) but to be able to confess your wrongs before the congregation ???  Whew!   That takes some sho-nuff strength to do!  By the time I asked forgiveness from the congregation, I would be humbled.  Wow, guess that’s the whole idea, ain’t it???  Asking forgiveness for Israel is sho-nuff the right way to go. Hopefully, we do it more than once a yr : Yom Ha Kypor.  Yet Abba in HIS mercy, asks us to all come together in prayer & fasting, so we are all on the same page.  Let’s pray we don’t become like Nebudchadnezer or anyone else in thinking we got it all together, on our own. If it wasn’t for YAH, you could not even get out of bed this morning!   If it wasn’t for Yahoshua - we would not have a hope of salvation!  We need to be on our knees or sittin’ in a chair (if the bones ain’t holding up like they used to) giving all the praise to THE ONE WHO GAVE US LIFE, asking forgiveness and a better understanding of Yahoshua, so we can walk as he walked. Abba doesn’t ask us to be perfect. He wants us to be obedient in following / obeying HIS LAWS, COMMANDMENTS & RIGHT RULINGS.  He is so amazing and loving: If we do as HE ASKS: we are QADOSH in HIS SIGHT!   But it does begin with a humble heart, and asking forgiveness in all sincerity will do just that.  I pray others - receive the wisdom, as I have. Todah YAH !
