YAHUSHUA SPEAKS from BEGINNING to END

A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom mishpacha, baruk h'shem YHWH melek olam ... blessed be the name YHWH king everlasting!

I pray all is well or will be soon for you and all of YAH's choosen.

I wanted to at this time around attempt to put "back on track" a understanding many of us have allowed to jump off track - the true purpose of prophecy.

I have always like to deal firstly with the definition of the things I speak on and this will be no exception, the older definitions are as follows: naba' ...... to prophesy, prophesying, nbuw'ah .... neb-oo-aw' ; a prophecy or prediction, nabiy' ..... naw-bee' - a prophet (this title was used in the biggest selling DVD in recent years... AVATAR ), nbiy'ah .... neb-ee-yaw' - a prophetess, nebiym - prophets, all of these originating from the primitive root I first posted "naba" (Strong's - 5012) which means "bubble up" also speak (or sing) by inspiration. There are various types of prophets, but namely the two we are concerned with are: (1) the prophets that receives directly from the most high and (2) the prophets that "bubbles up" the word of the most high that has already been given us. Most of us should already be the 2nd listed type as we go through life bringing forth his word through the scripture we read but for some reason we encounter many that claim they are the 1st type that receive directly.

We saw a good explanation by the messenger to John as he was rounding up his Revelations- 19:10, ".....I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of YAHushua: worship Elohym: for the testimony of YAHushua is the spirit of prophecy". You or I are in NO position to say who the most high will or will not speak through but I always exercise caution when listening to "self annointed - self appointed" speakers that receive directly from "GOD". We have too many real prophets of the scripture try to warn us but we still dont listen! Lets start in torah / instruction Deut. 18:20-22, "But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other elohyms, even that prophet shall die. 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which YHWH hath not spoken? 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of YHWH, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the YHWH hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him", ... we read here that there had for thousands of years ago been false prophets that failed in their prophecies.

Also the prophet / nab'y Jeremiah warned us 23:9-16, Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of YHWH, and because of the words of his holiness.16 Thus saith the of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of YHWH. and in Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. .... does this sound familiar? also for a false prophet warning go re-read Jeremiah 23:36-40 (some things never change). The prophet / nab'y Ezekiel warned us in chapt. 13:2-23, "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of YHWH; 13:3 Thus saith the YHWH; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!....... and the warnings only get worse and worse all the way to 13:23, Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am YHWH. Ezekiel 22:25-29 ain't too pretty either!

From the prophet Micah in 3:11 we read, The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon YHWH, and say, Is not YHWH among us? none evil can come upon us. he called out the leaders, the priest and the prophets .... obviously they had a lot of nerve back then and these frauds got a lot of nerve today. Even the serpent h'shatan prophecied in the garden of eden to chawah / eve, how did that turn out? From another REAL prophet Amos we have read one of the most perverted and mis-applied prophecies you may ever hear from the mouth of the"self annointed - self appointed", we read in Amos in 3:7, "Surely the Master YHWH will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" and you better believe they sware on a stack of pork sausages they are those "servants the prophets", but to be his servant don't you have to serve him instead of pagan traditions?

In our basar aka "good news" of the new testament it is recorded in Matthew 7:22-23, "Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity".... obviously mashiach ain't impressed with all prophets either..... lol, Let us understand, It's not only that you prophesy.... it's what you prophesy! The taught one Luke recorded in 21:8, And he said, "Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am mashiach, and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them" .warning warning! - our annointed let it be known don't follow every testimony even if it is of him, so DON'T be deceived.

We can go through passage after passage but the question I need a answer to is why do some want to be prophets so desperately? Is it really because we spiritually want to take forth the word of the most high? or something more carnal like - we need attention? Like many of you I have noticed throughout scripture that when a real prophet was called to bubble forth the word of YAH more often than not it was because something was wrong and neeeded to be righted (had nothing to do with needing attention). From Moshe to Jonah to Jeremiah are a few examples of those that were reluctant and didn't even want the job ..... so much for attention! Exodus 3:11, And Moses said unto Elohym, "Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?" and Exodus 4:10, And Moses said unto YHWH, "O my Master, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue", obviously he was very humble and wasn't like the many frauds today jumping at the opportunity to be a "BIGshot".

When Jonah got his instructions from on high remember how enthusiastic he was to prophesy? Jonah 1:1-3, Now the word of YHWH came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, 1:2 Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of YHWH, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of YHWH, .... (so much for seeking his 15 minutes of fame) but look at the purpose and result of his prophecy, he was sent to WARN and his warning was heard and responded to: Jonah 3:5 -10, So the people of Nineveh believed , and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them... 3:10 And ELOHYM saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and ELOHYM repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. this result is what the real purpose of prophecy is for- repentance!

Another REAL prophet of YHWH, the young prophet Jeremiah recorded in 1:4-6, Then the word of YHWH came unto me, saying, 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 1:6 Then said I, Ah, my Master YHWH behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child". So we see the REAL prophets were those that didn't seek the position but lived a life worthy of receiving the word from on high to serve the will of the Almighty, how many of these modern day prophets can actually claim that? When another REAL prophet Daniel received his promotion among his captors it was because the hand of YHWH was over him, we read what made him worthy in the eyes of YHWH, we read in Daniel 6:3-4, Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him., so many claim they can understand Daniel but they aren't even close because they lack his excellent spirit, neither can they claim throughout their lives no error or fault, so what he received we can only read and try to learn from.

Now lets get back to the point of what prophecy is for, it was because something was wrong and needed to be righted and to give people the "heads up" before it's too late. I may be alone is this but I am dissapointed when I hear those that are concerned more about prophecy than they are righteousness or salvation. I hear so many people watching the prophetic clock, those that I call "clock jockeys" waiting for it to strike twelve as opposed to looking in the mirror to examine and better themselves, even out in the streets we learned "If you stay ready you dont have to get ready".

Why are many not realizing that understanding prophecy will help you know what season we in and playtime is over, but it is NOT salvation. The prophets of old all the way up to YAHushua and (even what he revealed to John on the island of Patmos) wanted us to know what time it was and to be ready so we would be in a right relationship with YAH. Many (but not all) of the modern day wanna be prophets don't really understand prophecy anyway and they actually remind me of the fairytale we learned as children - Cinderella. A tale requiring the young lady to try to enjoy herself but if she doesn't watch the time (in a paranoid state) she will get caught out there" and exposed. These wannabees sit around watching the prophetic clock waiting for it to strike twelve just to say "I told you so" but how does that help anybody? Did mashiach preach "I told you so"... did any of them in scripture preach that?

In Matthew 26:41 we saw a precursor when mashiach instructed: "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak". and in Luke 21:36 he instructed: "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man". - so mashiach assuredly told us to watch and pray so that we enter not into temptation and also that we may be accounted worthy to escape many things, .... he never taught "clock jockey-ing" will save us. What we have ALL should have learned through scripture is not "clock watching" but to live righteously and to connect to the creator while we still can. Isaiah 55:6-7 tells us Seek ye YHWH while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto YHWH, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our Elohym, for he will abundantly pardon. - now there is a REAL prophet that is "bubbling up" something worth receiving

.... selah, shalom
