Your Pool of Bethesda

shalom al'ychm - peace to all, "ALL praises, honor and glory to the most high YHWH" w' baruk h'shem!, and lest we forget - "baruka ha'bo beh'h'shem YHWH" blessed is your coming in the name of YHWH" ->>>YAHushua.

I pray continual blessings for each and everyone and your families as well. It was on my mind to share some understandings and revelations many of us receive from the sent revealer of truth - the ruach h'emet aka "spirit of truth". This time I'd like to shortly and quickly share a understanding many don't find important or maybe miss the meaning of, from the good news of Yahchanan / John that the translators apportioned in the 5th chapter - the "Pool of Bethesda".

As I usually do I like to define the things for clarity before I attemp to articulate them, In this case the word Bethesda actually is a combination of the words byt: bah-yith (meaning: house) + khsd: kheh'-sed (meaning: unfailing love, mercy) = "house of mercy", therefore we can now understand the "Pool of Bethesda" is a reference to the "pool of the house of mercy". In this first century timeframe pools weren't attended for recreational swimming like today but instead a place to store water for later use and also other pools were for cleansing. The location of this particular historic site is thought to be just north of the temple mount, but those type debates can go on for hours so the exact geographical location all-be-it important to many is not my focus at this time, you can go seek the revelations of Bishop Macarius and Queen Helena and their electronic GPS for that info ......lol

What I'd like to expound on is a fuller meaning of why Yahushua went there to heal a man that was impotent / crippled who wanted to be healed like many others that went there for the purpose of being restored. It starts off in chapter 5 telling us he went to Jerusalem during the time of a "feast" - After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Yahushua went up to Jerusalem, ...... - some think it was the torah appointed feast of passover, others believe it was a traditional type feast called Purim but either way John doesn't specifically make mention of the feast maybe knowing that in the future many will wait on the one time of year ( like many of them were already doing ) to try to attach healing to that one time frame or feast, ....SMART MOVE JOHN!. I've heard people tell me to this very day many visitors go Israel to go bath in the "salt sea" aka the dead sea to get healed of various infimities..... but where is mashiach in that ritual? I read in the book of John 14:18 how Yahushua said: "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you". ...... - I musta missed the part about "I will not leave you salt-less" ....OH WELL, my bad.

Anyway as we continue reading John 5 we see: Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an malak went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. ...... - this again shows us that the most high YHWH was willing to make "whole" those that stay dilligent! , he would send a malak to heal those that had FAITH (preparing us for Yahushua).

We also understand that water is the universal cleanser - so when he sent his malak as a sign for the water to be clean ->>> time to drive in, (a hint for us) no hesitating allowed!. Continuing on we read vs. 5-9: And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Yahushua saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, "Wilt thou be made whole?" 7 The impotent man answered him, "Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me". 8 Yahushua saith unto him, "Rise, take up thy bed, and walk". 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. ...... - our mashiach saw that this man's heart and mind was willing, but his flesh was weak - so he dealt with this man according to his faith.

Question: how come if they knew this was a the pool at the "house of mercy" those around the man showed him NONE? ..... remember that the next time you see a disabled person in need! And notice how when the hand of YHWH heals there is NO long time interval needed in that someone might think it came from some medicine finally "kicking in" or some herbs finally working or some well educated physician or some fake healer or maybe even their own body healing itself? These verses show Yahushua mainly went there to show he had power to cleanse or heal even better than the water..... haleluYAH. ( this is Wisdom )

This is a simple to understand physical rendering of the effects his works but now lets look at a deeper rendering. Often when we see the word "water" is also has a biblical reference to "people / mutitudes" and the word "angel" from the hebrew "malak" meaning "messenger" and the word used "troubled" comes from the understanding "stirred up". This shows us - that at the appointed time in Jerusalem when many have congregated the most high will send his messenger to stir up up the people / multitudes to make whole all those with dilligence and faith - no matter what their infirmity is , and that messenger above all messengers is Yahushua ! Remember the later day prophecy given to ZakariYah we read in chapter 13:1?, " In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness". ...... - this is NOT vain speaking but a purposeful prophecy, - a cleansing will definately be needed!

There is a consistant final command he gives the man before this situation is complete that he gives several times in the scripture, the command he states in John 5:14, Afterward Yahushua findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, "Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come unto thee". ...... - we dont know exactly what this newly restored man was up to but we do know Yahushua caught him in the temple and had to correct him before his latter end would become worse than his earlier affliction - IF he remains in sin, maybe because he didn't know at first that it was the renoun Yahushua who healed him which shows us today something very important we should learn from Yahushua >>> humilty humility humility!

in John 5:13, And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Yahushua had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. The man may have been running off at the mouth irresponsibly due to his zeal of new good physical health, we don't know for sure but whatever it was that prompted Yahushua to warn him, ....he listened!. Have you ever read and embraced the wisdom in the book of Ecclesiasticus from the apocrypha? In chapter 38 vs. 9-10 it states: "My son, in thy sickness be not negligent: but pray unto YHWH, and he will make thee WHOLE. 10 Leave off from SIN, and order thine hands aright, and cleanse thy heart from ALL wickedness." ...... - a perfect continued pattern for healing is again show here (hint hint).

So if we look at this with a deeper understanding we may now realize there is a pattern for us even in this hour to follow:

1. realize before being made paralyzed, you need to be made whole physically AND spiritually

2. be at the right place physically and spiritually, - HIS house of mercy

3. be at the ready to receive from the most high, - know your appointed time

4. be amongst the right people, - self explanitory

5. wait on the TRUE messenger

6. be ready to be stirred up spiritually - dont hold back

7. receive the cleansing - and STAY that way!

This is NOT about "knowing in part or prophesying in part", - it's about your opportunity to be made WHOLE.
