         I pray all is well with you and yours and if not, know assuredly it will be according to his will.

This time around I'd like to explore a constant misdirection allowed of our people (even our women), The misdirection of too much focus on a physical and salvation-less covering ->>> the HAIR.

Because we have read in a epistle written by Shaul a physical distinction between men and women (some folks get it twisted like a braid) that he was offering up as common sense - NOT a new law of ELOHYM, we read in 1st Corintians 11:14-16, "........Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have NO such custom, NEITHER the assemblies of ELOHYM". ......- He was simply pointing to the what and why of hair length as from the creator, not mans input on the matter. STOP! .... This is not another one of those discussions or debates about whether a man is to cover his head or not, you can argue that on your own time - instead this topic is about something that plagues our people due to vanity -> too much focus on hair apperance but forsaking a "real" covering --->YAHushua!. As I often like to examine: in the hebrew language the word for hair is most presented in the scriptures from the word "s'ar" - say-awr': hair, hairy. (Strong's 8181) and the word covering is "kphr" - kaphar kaw-far': to coat, to cover. (Strong's 3722), where the word "kippa" comes from that is still a head covering (aka skullcap) tradition going back only about 800 plus years... NOT a law in torah, and also "kphr" is the root of "yom kipurym" aka the day of coverings.

We have heard in these times many teachers / leaders so often go to the passages from this same writer Shaul earlier in this very same epistle to indicate how they have a greater understanding than their listeners.... but do they really? We read at chapter 3 vs. 1-2, ".....And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in h'mashiach. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able". .......- WOW, not so much as a put-down than it is a reality check from a man qualified!, BUT also we have read the full understanding to whom he is directing this to in Ibrym / Hebrews 5:12-14, "... For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, YE HAVE NEED THAT ONE TEACH YOU AGAIN which be the first principles of the oracles of ELOHYM; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. .......- well well well, so much for the wanna-be "FEEDERS" that can't even explain simple wisdom.

Again my focus to those than can consume strong meat - is on the much time and dedication given to our covering through our hair follicles for our physical (or carnal) appearance but much less time attributed for our purposeful spiritual dedication. I know this may hurt, but Women (and men) honestly ask yourselves on a daily basis: how much time do you spend in the morning attending to you or your childrens "follicle covering" vs. how much time you spend that same morning in prayer?..... ouch!

We all understand that any self-respecting person does NOT want to appear in public with their head "busted" mainly because of the ridicule they will have to endure from the world, .....but what about a little focus on that covering that can save your soul that will NEVER ridicule you? We have beeen totally saturated for decades to the point of overkill with hair care product after hair care product mainly sent by the adversary h'shatan to keep our minds on the carnal and NOT what we ought to.

In fact, one of the first black women in America to become a millionaire was Sarah Breedlove aka "Madam C.J. Walker" who was known for her hair care products, (actually the very first millionairess was Hannah Elias, a New York woman of ILL repute... go figure! ). Anyway Madam C.J. Walker made a fortune at a time when people of color didn't have good jobs or much money but found a way to scrape up what we could get to get that stigma of having "bad hair" off of us. First h'shatan told his earthly minions to mock us and call us "nappy-headed" (which if we really think about it is a strong tight covering) and other derogatory names and made our people feel inferior and socially unacceptable. If you stroll back through time our people have worked waaaaay to hard to be in appearance "socially acceptable" further diminishing our walk with the most high YHWH envying to be like the world as we were warned in James 4:4-5 , ".........., know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with ELOHYM? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of ELOHYM. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to ENVY?" .......- even adultery itself is based from envy!, and envying the ways of this world takes our focus off YHWH and puts it where h'shatan wants it - In carnality and vanity.

Looking back we have done everything with our hair but run it through a blender..... lol. examples: some have put lye (or conk) in our folicle covering - to get away from our natural strength texture, some have run straightening combs or hot irons through our covering - also to get away from our natural strength texture, some have used curling irons to artificially re-shape our natural covering, some have rolled up their covering with 2-piece plastic rollers that looked like mini cages..... oh oh, some have covered their natural covering with wigs aka "fake covering" (totally smothering their real follicles) some have used blow-out combs to make our covering stand up like it was in shock, some have tormented their covering with the Jheri curl that we constantly had to spray spray spray - making our covering a pure mess!, some have artificially added to their covering with weaves or extentions (a false addition to whats real) - and lets NOT go into the multitude of haircuts, hair shapes and hair designs carved in our hair at home or the the barbershop! ....( please lets not go there, I'm already guilty by default ), and why then and now did a lot of men wear hats or doo-rags religiously indoors as well as oudoors?.

Now lets pause and reflect, ->>> ALL because we were taught our follicle covering really meant something important..... but if it really means anything important then why haven't this behaviour blessed us and why did we stop, ...... well? This PROVES we didn't know what a REAL covering was. Centuries ago Kepha / Peter also tried to give women some understanding but NOT a torah law as he wrote in 1st Peter 3:3-5, "....whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of ELOHYM of great price. 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in ELOHYM, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands": .......- plaiting aka "braiding" the hair ( hint-hint ) was very common for those women but Peter wanted the sisters to know that the "qadosh women of old" adorned themselves with a meek and quiet ruach because they trusted YHWH.

Now let me ask again, how much time did you spend on this temporary foolishness whether at home or at a hairdresser vs. your time connecting to your true covering?.... sad to think about for many. I'm pretty sure hair focus was NOT the intent when the most high designed us. We too often in our society raise our daughters telling them true beauty come from within, but turn right around and show them how to constanty focus on their hair apperance by giving them money and taking them to those "hair stores" and the really sad part is many men are caught up in the same vanity. No wonder every foreigner wants to come to this country and open up a hair store in our neighborhoods - because they know for a fact our focus is skewded!

King Dawid's son gave us men good advice to look to, in Eccles. 9:8, he states: ".....Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment". .......- translation: continually wear clean garments - dress your hair with oil and keep it movin! We see very little in the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation about hair grooming for a good reason, - it aint that serious! If you doubt that then lets look at a woman that was a true believer and follower of Yahushua to prove this viewpoint through a deeper understanding. In Mark 14:3-9 we should have read: And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. 4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, "Why was this waste of the ointment made? 5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor". And they murmured against her. 6 And Yahushua said, "Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. 7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. 8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. 9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her".

and in luke 7:36-38 we should have read: And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat. 37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Yahushua sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, 38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

and also we should have read in John 12:1-8, Then Yahushua six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. 2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Yahushua, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. 4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him, 5 "Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?" 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. 7 Then said Yahushua, "Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. 8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always". .......- what I like to point out in the good news offered by these talmadym / disciples show that even a sinner that has made many mistakes even knows and shows that the long covering of her hair is NOTHING to cherish when compared to the real covering --->YAHUSHUA!

and what I'd like to point out specifically by Luke's writing is that this woman that humbled herself to annoint Yahushua impressed him so much that he said: "Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her". .......- mainly because she humbled herself in repentance weeping from BEHIND him, spent all she had of worldly value to annoint he that is worth it, and uncovered her hair to use it to wipe his feet as a sign of giving up a physical covering for a spiritual one, ....haleluYAH!

How many in this day and time would wipe his feet with theirs and then NOT jump up to go look in the mirror to go check their hair? ..... Oh Oh, maybe some still caught up in salvation-less coverings. Later, what apostle Shaul was trying to articulte to us is to know and understand the chain of authority so you will be truly covered . We revisit in 1st Cor. 11:3-7, "...But I would have you know, that the head of every man is h'mashiach; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of h'mashiach is ELOHYM. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of ELOHYM: but the woman is the glory of the man". .......- it's amazing how self explanitory this is till the authors of confusion begin to weigh in with their own doctrines and personal convoluted ideologies, not to mention we know in this society head covering to show submission is TABOO! - VERY FEW want to publically show any manor of submission.

We in this day in age have gone from displaying a covering on our head to displaying a ring on the finger.... wth?, where that come from?. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against rings or any token or symbol to show union but didn't our culture already have a highly visible way of showing union?.

Remember the point YHWH was making when he told Moshe to tell us to make fringes or wear tzit-tzit on the borders of our garment (Numbers 15:37- 40) vs. 39: "....and it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of YHWH, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring": .......- it was to REMIND us of his laws and statues, so when you hear a mouthy speaker tell you this is not really necessary anymore ask that speaker: "has it worked so thoroughly at this time we as well as the world know, remember and keeps his laws?"..... not eeeeeeven close!

The most high knows a whore does NOT want to be covered in any shape, form or fashion, (and so do you know, just look around your streets) and surely Israel went whoring over and over again exposing themselves from one god to another to another denying our true covering, - now where is the wisdom in that behaviour? If a person, male or female had fringes or tzit-tzit at the border of their garments to REMIND them of YHWH's laws... when they reach down to pull off the garments to do lustful sin or wickeness, what would they have to grab a handful of?...... thats right a handful of REMINDER! (aka fringes).

We understand head coverings and fringes alone won't stop everybody from doing what they want to do, but any ordained reminder may help convict them, ......so if we don't live torah and teach torah how can the people today even know there exist a righteous covering? Do we tell the churches or synagogues to close down because sinners are gonna be sinners?...... well? Here is food for thought: did you ever read with understanding and meditate on the last words Yahushua spoke to his emah and that disciple whom he loved? - We read in John 19:25-27, Now there stood by the stake of Yahushua his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Yahushua therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, "Woman, behold thy son!" 27 Then saith he to the disciple: "BEHOLD thy Mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. .......- Yahushua was earnestly making sure while he would no longer be present with them in the flesh, that his Mother would still be covered!, .....he had absolutely NO concern for her hairdo.

The point we should glean from all this is: If after all these centuries we still are paranoid from stigmas and focused only on a hair presentation as our "crowning glory" can we seriously claim to be walking in the spirit?, .....that is far too vain and worldly to be spiritual! Yes we should understand the importance of the temporary but we ought not miss out on the perfect "fashion statement" or real "dress code" of a everlasting covering ->>> Yahushua. If we FAIL to understand the deeper meaning in this hour: to live and demonstrate righteous living, and the ordained chain of authority and the definition a true proper covering - all for the purpose of setting ourselves apart from the "world", then that failure would be a victory..... for h'shatan. If his victory is NOT our goal, then let's NOT tell the world to run to the hair store but instead let's tell the world to run for cover ->>> YAHUSHUA,
