                                    I pray all is well as you are strengthening your walk with YHWH.

In this inculcation I'd like us to be able to speak with certainty against another silly understanding that won't seem to go away, the errant doctrine that: man himself doesn't have a spirit, - the teachers of this lunacy even make mockery by saying: there is no little ghost living inside man's nostrils. I'm not sure who started that nonsense but it's time we stop it! This correcting message will be more ammo for your gun in the battle for scriptural clarity. Maybe some of these doctrinal wizards need to revisit the wisdom & warning in mishle' / proverbs 30:5-6, Every word of YHWH is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. ......- nuff said.

As I normally like to do, lets look at the word itself in the language that will give us the best understanding. The word spirit in ibryt is "ruach" pronounced: ruwach roo'-akh, and has partially been defined as: wind; by resemblance breath, as the immaterial part of a person. ( Strong's no: 7307-7308 ).

We first saw the misunderstanding they teach about man's spirit in b'reshyth / genesis 2:7, And YHWH Elohym formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. ......- in this application the torah utilizes the word "nshmt" which actually means life force and animate ( Strong's no: 5396-5397 ), so because the word ruach wasn't utilized here the amateur biblical scholars think man doesn't possess a energizing spirit .....WRONG! In hebrew different words can be used for similar meanings, like they can in English. The misunderstanding is furthered when they twist Paul's words and intent when they read without comprehension 1st Corinthians chapter 15 pertaining to our post-resurrection body as opposed to our pre-ressurection bodies.

Let's qualify through scripture the fact that man has a "spirit" ->>> a energizing life force and mind force and NOT just a breath:

Let's look in b'reshyth 41:1-8, And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river. 2 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow. 3 And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river. 4 And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke. 5 And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good. 6 And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them. 7 And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream. 8 And it came to pass in the morning that his SPIRIT was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh. ......- do you actually think that this eludes to Pharoh's breath being troubled? ....and do you have to have a dream for your mind to be troubled?

Let's also look in b'midbar / numbers 14:24, But my servant Caleb, because he had another SPIRIT with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it. ......- Caleb is actually spelled KLB meaning: kol = all / whole and leb = heart, so the whole hearted one didn't have a different breath, but a different life force than the others!

Let's also look in b'midbar / numbers 16:20-22, And YHWH spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, 21 "Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment". 22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, EL, Elohym of the SPIRITS of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? ......- the two levite brothers were humbly petitioning to Almighty power of spirits of mankind, etc....

Let's also look in b'midbar / numbers 27:18:19, And YHWH said unto Moses, "Take thee Yoshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the SPIRIT, and lay thine hand upon him; 19 And set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight".......- Yoshua also had a spirit pleasing to YHWH.

Let's look in 1st Kings 21:5, But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy SPIRIT so sad, that thou eatest no bread? ......- remember that Naboth was being pressured by Ahab to sell his vineyard to the point that it troubled him so bad that his wife noticed, this wasn't a issue of breath.

Let's look in 2nd Kings 2: 9&15, 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me,....& 15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. ......- Elisha didn't ask for a double-up or EliYah's breath - but his life force!

Let's look in Ezra 1:1 & 5, 1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of YHWH by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, YHWH stirred up the SPIRIT of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, ....& 5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose SPIRIT Elohym had raised, to go up to build the house of YHWH which is in Jerusalem, .......- question: how can YHWH stir up their spirit if they didn't have one?

Let's look in Job 6:4, For the arrows of El Shdy are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my SPIRIT: the terrors of Eloah do set themselves in array against me.

Let's also look in Job 7:11, Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my SPIRIT; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

Let's also look in Job 10:11-12, Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. 12 Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my SPIRIT.

Let's also look in Job 20:3, I have heard the check of my reproach, and the SPIRIT of my understanding causeth me to answer.

Let's also look in Job 21:3-4, Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on. 4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my SPIRIT be troubled?

Let's also look in Job 32:7-8, I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom. 8 But there is a SPIRIT in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Let's also look in Job 34:13-15, Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world? 14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath; 15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. ......- surely sounds like YHWH reserves the power to repossess what he has given us to exist!

Let's now look in IsaiYah 42:5, Thus saith El YHWH, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and SPIRIT to them that walk therein: ......- doesn't this clearly state breath AND spirit >>> two different attributes!

Let's also look in IsaiYah 66:1-2, Thus saith YHWH, "The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? 2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith YHWH: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite SPIRIT, and trembleth at my word" ......- you actually think he's talking about a poor and contrite breath?

Let's now look in Ezekiel 3:14, So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my SPIRIT; but the hand of YHWH was strong upon me. ......- you actually think he's talking about a hot or furious breath?

Let's also look in Ezekiel 11:17-19, Therefore say, Thus saith adony YHWH; "I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new SPIRIT within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh" ......- question: how can YHWH give them a new spirit if they didn't already have one?

Let's also look in Ezekiel 18:31, Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ......- you see most often the word heart is used for "mind", and spirit for something else.

Let's also look in Ezekiel 21:6-7, "....sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. 7 And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every SPIRIT shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass", saith adony YHWH .......- sounds like a prophecy of a total breakdown of all of man's strengths including his life force.

Let's also look in Ezekiel 36:25-27, "....then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new SPIRIT will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them" ......- again you see the word heart is used for "mind", and the word spirit for a newer life force.

Let's look in ZechariYah 12:1, The burden of the word of YHWH for Israel, saith YHWH, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the SPIRIT of man within him. .......- formed the spirit of man within him aka life force .....nuff said!

Let's look in Daniel 7:15, I Daniel was grieved in my SPIRIT in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me........- WOW, you mean a real prophet like Daniel can tell us that the spirit is in the midst of our being and we ignore him?

Let's now look in psalms 32:2, Blessed is the man unto whom YHWH imputeth not iniquity, and in whose SPIRIT there is no guile.

Let's also look in psalms 51:10, Create in me a clean heart, O Elohym; and renew a right SPIRIT within me.

Let's also look in psalms 51:17, The sacrifices of Elohym are a broken SPIRIT a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohym, thou wilt not despise.

Let's also look in psalms 78:8, And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with El.

Let's also look in psalms 142:1-3, I cried unto YHWH with my voice; with my voice unto YHWH did I make my supplication. 2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. 3 When my SPIRIT was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

Let's also look in psalms 143:3-4, For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead. 4 Therefore is my SPIRIT overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

Let's now look in proverbs 14:29, He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of SPIRIT exalteth folly

Let's also look in proverbs 15:13-14, A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the SPIRIT is broken. 14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness

Let's also look in proverbs 16:18-19, Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty SPIRIT before a fall. 19 Better it is to be of an humble SPIRIT with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Let's also look in proverbs 17:22, A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken SPIRIT drieth the bones.

Let's also look in proverbs 18:14, The SPIRIT of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded SPIRIT who can bear?

Let's now look in ecclesiasties 3:20-21, All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the SPIRIT of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Let's also look in ecclesiasties 8:8, There is no man that hath power over the SPIRIT to retain the SPIRIT; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

Let's also look in ecclesiasties 11:5, As thou knowest not what is the way of the SPIRIT, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of Elohym who maketh all.

Let's also look in ecclesiasties 12:7, Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the SPIRIT shall return unto Elohym who gave it.

Now lets look at some renewed covenant passages that bring clarity to the misunderstanding:

Let's look in Mark 14:38, Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The SPIRIT truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. ......- you actually think he's talking about a ready breath?

Let's now look in Luke 1:16-17, And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the master their Elohym. 17 And he shall go before him in the SPIRIT and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Master.

Let's also look in Luke 8:52-55, And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her SPIRIT came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.

Let's look in Acts 7:59-60, And they stoned Stephen, calling upon, and saying, Master Yahushua, receive my SPIRIT. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Master, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep

Let's look in Romans 1:8-9, First, I thank my Elohym through Yahushua h'mashiach for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. 9 For Elohym is my witness, whom I serve with my SPIRIT in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; ( also read Romans 8:5-11 ).

Let's now look in 1st. Corinthians 2:11, For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the SPIRIT of man which is in him? even so the things of Elohym knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Elohym

Let's also look in 1st. Corinthians 5:4-5, In the name of our master Yahushua h'mashiach, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our master Yahushua h'mashiach, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the SPIRIT may be saved in the day of the master Yahushua

Let's also look in 1st. Corinthians 14:13-16, Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my SPIRIT prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the SPIRIT, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the SPIRIT, and I will sing with the understanding also. 16 Else when thou shalt bless with the SPIRIT, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

Let's also look in 1st. Corinthians 6:19-20, What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of Elohym, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohym in your body, and in your SPIRIT, which are Elohym's

Let's also look in 1st. Corinthians 16:17-18, I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. 18 For they have refreshed my SPIRIT and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

Let's look in Ephesians 4:21-24, If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Yahushua: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the SPIRIT of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after Elohym is created in righteousness and true holiness

Let's look in 1st. Thessalonians 5:21-23, Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very Elohym of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray Elohym your whole SPIRIT and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our master Yahushua h'mashiach..

Let's look in Hebrews 4:11-2, Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. 12 For the word of Elohym is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and SPIRIT, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let's now look in James 2:26, For as the body without the SPIRIT is dead, so faith without works is dead also

Let's also look in James 4:4-5, Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with Elohym? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of Elohym. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The SPIRIT that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

Let's now look in 1st Peter 3:1-4, Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet SPIRIT, which is in the sight of Elohym of great price.

Let's also look in 1st Peter 3:18-19, For h'mashiach also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to Elohym, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the SPIRIT: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the SPIRITS in prison;

Let's look in 1st John 4:1-2, Beloved, believe not every SPIRIT, but try the SPIRITS whether they are of Elohym: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the SPIRIT of Elohym: Every SPIRIT that confesseth that Yahushua h'mashiach is come in the flesh is of Elohym. ......- this is NOT instruction to give breath test!

We can even look at one of the so-called "lost books", specifically the book of Enoch chapter 20 to see the names and purposes of YHWH'S higher malakym.

1. And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. 2. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is over the world and over Tartarus. 3. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the SPIRITS of men. 4. Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. 5. Michael, one of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. 6. Saraqâêl, one of the holy angels, who is set over the SPIRITS, who sin in the SPIRIT. 7. Gabriel, one of the holy angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim. 8. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom Elohym set over those who rise.

Let's also look in Enoch chpt. 22:3, 3. Then Raphael answered, one of the holy angels who was with me, and said unto me: 'These hollow places have been created for this very purpose, that the SPIRITS of the souls of the dead should assemble therein, yea that all the souls of the children of men should assemble here.

Let's also look in Enoch chpt. 22:6-9, Then I inquired of Raphael, an angel who was with me, and said, Whose SPIRIT is that, the voice of which reaches to heaven, and accuses? 7 He answered, saying, This is the SPIRIT of Abel who was slain by Cain his brother; and who will accuse that brother, until his seed be destroyed from the face of the earth 8 Until his seed perish from the seed of the human race. 9 At that time therefore I inquired respecting him, and respecting the general judgment, saying, Why is one separated from another? He answered, Three separations have been made between the SPIRITS of the dead, and thus have the SPIRITS of the righteous been separated.

Let's now look in the suspect book of Tobit 3:6, Now therefore deal with me as seemeth best unto thee, and command my SPIRIT to be taken from me, that I may be dissolved, and become earth: for it is profitable for me to die rather than to live, because I have heard false reproaches, and have much sorrow: command therefore that I may now be delivered out of this distress, and go into the everlasting place: turn not thy face away from me ......- a writing from the apocrypha showing that Tobit knew the spirit was his life force.

I guess some of today's "religious leaders" are more like Sadducees than anything else as we remember from reading Acts 23:6-8, ....but when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. 7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. 8 For the Sadducees say that there is no ressurrection, neither angel, nor SPIRIT: but the Pharisees confess both. ......- when Paul had to stand before a ruler in high authority and also the leaders of the religious sects, he made plain his belief as a Pharisee - he does believe!

We can show and prove there are far too many passages of scripture from b'reshyt to chtzyun ( genesis to revelation ) and everything in between for the wannabee teachers of the word to irresponsibly ignore the reality that man assuredly has a life force called his spirit that energizes his body as well as his mind! Remember what Yahushua said back in John 6:63, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" ......- Yahushua was making it plain: thats it's the spirit keeps us energized or alive, and his words are for that very purpose! The opponents of this blog / message written for fuller understanding also need to explain: how can we possibly overcome in spiritual battles if we don't have a spirit to battle with?, - maybe they will just sit around waiting to exhale ....lol

wisdom: Many fail to understand that the Most High doesn't just want to connect with our spirit - He wants to connect with his spirit in us! .....selah

We all need to be fully armed with understanding through the word of truth to tear down the strongholds of errant doctrines, ......I sincerly hope this helps

Shalom Zaqayn Shmanu YAH, May Abba continue to bless you in all you share/teach for The Children of Yisrsel to understand. 'Psalms 119:10 - 'With my whole heart have I sought You, let me not wander from Your Commandments '' In giving my whole heart to The Father, He gave me a chance to know Him, & my 'spirit' became renewed / quickened, so I could keep His Commandments! It's true we have the breath of life to inhale & exhale (not be taken for granted either) but we also have a Spirit to know The Father , because thru Yahushua, he told his disciples : he is in The Father & The Father is in Him. If they saw him, they saw The Father. Yahushua said, he spoke not his own words, but he spoke the words of His Father. Does not the Ruach Qodesh give us understanding? Did not Yahushua say : I must leave so that The Comforter would come. He will guide you into all truth? Aren't we to worship The Father in Spirit & in truth? This has nothing to with breathing, cause if you ain't breathing, you ain't worshipping anyway. When we come before Abba in prayer, are we not meeting Him in Spirit & truth? If you feel His presence, isn't your spirit in sync with Him? When you are overwhelmed at times and you can't express those words and you're rocking back & forth and tears are
streaming down your face, isn't Ha Ruach interceding on your behalf? Don't we all have a guardian angel watching over us? Is not this angel spirit, by YHWH's command? You called out the angels by name! Didn't Dawiyd ask for his spirit to be renewed? We're not all the souls of men created in the spirit realm before being made human on earth? Only Ha Shatan said, he would try & steal the souls of men, in turning them away from The Father. If some people are blind to think they have no soul, then let them take their last breath, their body return to dust, then ask, where does their soul return to? The One who gave them life! Whew! HaleluYAH! Today rabah for The Father blessing you to teach by His Ruach Qodesh! It took me a few hours to digest this teaching and share with you my thoughts /understanding. I didn't mean to get long winded, but I was lead to share these few words. Lol.
