a Fuller under-STAIN-ing

I pray all is well with you and yours and will soon be even better.

In this breif message I'd like to clarify what seems to be just a metaphorical thought declaration that we have all read and probably spoken BUT may not have fully expounded on. The familiar declaration I'm referring to is "cleansed by his blood" or "cleansed the blood of the lamb". It seems real easy to read and repeat and therefore easy to understand BUT do we really? As I often like to do, lets look into the actual words used. In the shemetic language the word for blood is "dm" pronounced "dawm", meaning: blood or lifeblood ( Strong's 1818 ).

We learned the purpose of blood back in w'yqra aka Leviticus 17:10-11, "....and whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the LIFE of the flesh is in the BLOOD: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul".......- so we see the purpose of blood that courses through our veins and arteries is to nourish and give life to our flesh but he has allowed us to shed animal blood for our lives to continue. This passage from the torah is why the torah-only criticize us for embracing whats written in Yahchanan \ John 6:53-56, Then Yahushua said unto them, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him". ......- obviously the torah only greatly err in understanding the scriptures because they can't understand that our ceremonial consuming the wine or grape juice is our public declaration that we believe that his blood once within us surely brings eternal life and only his blood can do that! ( not to mention if life is indeed in the blood - then we will be saturated with life inside and out because his pure and greater blood will cleanse ours,..... haleluYAH! ). Lets now re-vist some passages dealing with his cleansing blood:

1st. John 1:6-7, 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yahushua h'mashiach his Son cleanseth us from all sin. .......- note: we gotta STOP walking in darkness before his blood will cleanse us

1st. John 5:4-6, 4 For whatsoever is born of Elohym overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Yahushua is the Son of Elohym? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Yahushua h'mashiach; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. .......- came by water as his cleanser and brought blood to cleanse us ..... haleluYAH

Revelation 1:4-5, John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Yahushua h'mashiach, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 7:13-14, 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

so we can now correct the mis-understanding many may have by explaining to them :

Praying alone DOES NOT cleanse from sin.

Joining a assembly DOES NOT cleanse from sin

Living an honorable life DOES NOT cleanse from sin.

Being immersed under water DOES NOT cleanse from sin.

Observing YHWH's true moadym DOES NOT cleanse from sin.

Committing your life's work to h'mashiac DOES NOT cleanse from sin.

BUT, THE BLOOD OF YAHUSHUA H'MASHIACH >>> HIS BLOOD ALONE cleanses us from sin!

 

All of the afore mentioned have a very very important purpose in our relationship with YHWH, BUT nothing we can ever do with our works can replace what h'mashiach did with his blood!

So when you hear someone say: "plead the blood" they are not just expressing a way to be saved by claiming a allegiance to h'mashiach - but to FIRST be cleansed by the only truly qualified "fuller" or in hebrew "kabas" pronounced: kaw-bas'- to wash, a launderer (Strong's 3526).

Remember what we read in Malakhi 3:2-3, "But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto YHWH an offering in righteousness". ......- plainly stated: He will cleanse thoroughly and his blood assuredly cleanses better than soap ( because soap or detergents manufacturers never claimed to bring life of any kind ). And yes, it does seem ironic that blood or even it's represenative wine could be a cleanser of any type seeing how they both stain so deeply!, ever try to remove either of these types of stains?.... they really do set in deep, ( hint - hint ) .....so when it comes to the blood of the lamb there's no need to clean it out - just let it set in! - nuff said,
