Whats your motivation?

shalom alychem - peace be upon all. ALL praises and glory to the most high YHWH and "baruka ha'bo b'shem YHWH"- blessed is your coming in the name of YHWH ->>> Yahushua!.

                                          I sincerly pray all is well or know assuredly it will be soon.

　

In this attempt at examining what stimulates the spiritual thoughts of our hearts I'd like to first look into the catalyst of what stimulates us on a daily basis. From the time we wake up in the morning till the time we lay back down at night or whenver, we have to be motivated by something or else we wouldn't even move in the first place, I guess thats where Sir Isaac Newton got the theory for his 1st law of motion: - "An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force". The type of behaviour of getting us up and going has been conditioned into us since childhood, as in going to Kindergarden then Elementary school then Jr. High then High school and beyond - all to prepare us for lives in the workforce.

At the first we needed our parents or guardians or a alam clock or whatever to get us up and going lest we sleep our lives away, ......todah YHWH for them!, at times it seems we were so deep in sleep the Most High was gonna have to do again to us what he did to Adam in the later part of the verse of b'reshith / Genesis 2:7,

"and YHWH Elohym formed man of the dust of the ground, and  >>> breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul <" ......- I'm sure I'm not the only one .....lol

But later in life we have to be responsible enough to motivate our ownselves to be about our business, ..... easier for some than others, still the end result is we are able to get up and at it and those that don't can find their future as forcast in mishle / proverbs 13:4, "The soul of the sluggard craves and gets NOTHING, while the soul of the diligent is RICHLY supplied" ......- AMEN! - nuff said.

Unfortunately in this day and time far too many have resorted to pharmacia aka "sorcery" to give them the boost that they need to get going from several such sources as benign as caffeine or liquid energy boosters to those more malignant as nicotine, cocaine, amphetamines and a host of various prescription drugs far too numerous to list. These sources seem to do the job temporarily but fail at the long term - not to mention they have severe side effects!!! Now when we further take a look at the carnal things to motivate us outside of ingesting chemicals we can run into all manner of philosophies or mental vain janglings, ...but first lets look at some of the positive wisdom in the form of quotes from some successful people many of us may or may not have heard of:

These people and many like them succeeded in life because of positive midset for motivation, now ask yourself: "Am I motivated positively or do I use negative motivation - or none at all?". Again, this is aside from the misdirected chemical ingestion thats used to get the body perked up and going but instead a approach of the mind and soul. Some people really are motivated by negative influence especially from their youth because they have heard statements such as: "you will NEVER amount to anything", "you are too dumb to make it", "you are just like your father / mother - a looser!", "you dont have the talent", "you dont come from the right side of the tracks", "you are out of your league here", "you lack the neccessary heritage", "you don't look the part", etc., .... the list goes on and on and some people are very motivated to prove these naysayers wrong, I understand some for using this as motivation but: why even listen to the naysayers in the first place?.

We at a higher level should constantly draw motivation through YHWH's spirit that he puts in us and even his word he has given us because we should understand by now that: man deals or works though the possible.... but YHWH works through the impossible!. Remember how the first four of the ten commandments shows us how to relate to the most high and the latter six show us how to relate to each other, so if we apply what Shaul / Paul wrote in Romans 12:10-11 we can put them together and also see motivation!, 10 ".....Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 NOT slothful in business; FERVENT in spirit; serving the Master; ......- easy to understand as 1-2-3!

It is so so sad in this day and age that the major sorcerers ( the drug companies ) have worked so dilligently to provide us with chemical motivation, that we don't even step back and look at the direction they are leading us!, >>> as the older folks use to call it: "keeping a hump in your back"....lol. One of their biggest money makers in these times is what I call "lust enhancers" or the world calls "performance enhancers". You know those drugs like viagra (the word for "Tiger" in Sanskrit (व्याघ्रः, vyāghra)  or cialis, etc. that stimulate more action in the bedroom (or wherever) for sexual pleasure but has NO effect on our long term good. This type of intentional carnal misdirection now encourages the masses of ALL ages especially the unmarried to only sow more seed in the bedroom (or wherever) instead of sowing work for the Kingdom of YHWH, ( the masses don't catch that slick strategy ) maybe they just dont understand the warning and wisdom Paul wrote in Galatians 6:7-9, "Be not deceived; Elohym is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not".......- translation: "BE ENERGIZED in the SPIRIT!"..... now what in the world is hard to understand about that?.....duh!

If our motivation is skewed or perversly driven through carnality,... then carnality we will get - but if we are spiritually motivated, ... then spiritual direction and rewards we shall get. Now let me ask you what I ask myself: "what do you need to stimulate you for the long term?" - "and how often?" - and last but not least "is it working?"

HALELUYAH! Todah Zaqayn for your timely words of wisdom, which we should all meditate upon. This same question I ask of myself, what motivates me / what do I need to stimulate me for the long term?  My answer is prayer!  Prayer (anytime of day) motivates me to thank The Father for all His tender mercies and many blessings: Being able to recognize who HE IS, is a blessing, kneeling beforeHIM in awe of WHO HE IS, is a blessing, waking me in da morning and being able to praise Him for a restful  / safe sleep is a blessing. Being in HIS PRESENCE & feeling HIS RUACH QODESH is a blessing. Knowing of this truth and walking HIS PATH, is a blessing. Belonging to this family of believers, knowing I am walking the same ancient path of my forefathers is a blessing.  Knowing that we pray for one another, being concerned for one another, the blessings are un-countable. Who needs drugs when we have such an Abba who cares for us!  I’M thankful for medicinal drugs when I need them because of pain, but I don’t abuse them either. Thankful for medical insurance so I can go to the Dr. when necessary, but that’s about it.  Sho nuff truth mentioned here: We at a higher level should constantly draw motivation through YHWH's spirit that he puts in us and even His Word He has given us because we should understand by now that: man deals or works though the possible.... but YHWH works through the impossible!  Living by faith and HIS Word, we should be able to overcome any obstacle.  HALELUYAH!   May YAHWAH continue to bless you / family for all you share for HIS sheep to learn and comprehend.
