YAHUSHUA SPEAKS from BEGINNING to END

A Place to fellowship with the humble children of YHWH

shalom mishpacha, firstly "ALL praises and glory to the Most High YHWH" ( from where all true knowledge and wisdom is given ) and "baruk h'shem YHWH" preceeding "baruka h'bo beh shem YHWH" meaning: blessed is the name YHWH" and "blessed your coming in the name YHWH -> YAHushua"

In this brief blog or inculcation I'd like to look at a issue we all know of by now and "claim" - but have to re-examine if we as well as those around us can honestly live up to, the claim of humbleness. In the hebraic communication one of the more purposeful definitions of the word is "anaw"  meaning: humble, lowly, meek, ... etc.  (Strong's 6035).

I want to ( for the purposes to the body of machiach ) look into how a true pursuit of this behaviour can benefit us. Most of us really want to believe humbleness just means not talking loudly or bragging on ones self or even making sure we don't draw attention to ourselves by any means, but thats a modern day mis-application of that term, however the definition we need to understand and live in is deeper than that in content.

One of the earlier examples of when humility was called into play is recorded in shmote / exodus 10:1-3, ...and YHWH said unto Moses, "Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might shew these my signs before him: 2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son’s son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am YHWH". 3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, 'Thus saith YHWH Elohy of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me". .....- in this very example we see that the most high was dealing with the decendants of HAM as he even called their leader to humble himself after his heart had been "hardened"? .....WAIT a MINUTE!, why would the Most High make a leader's heart hard and NOT give him a chance to humble himself?..... OH OH! This is exactly why I state: "ALL praises and glory to the Most High YHWH - from where ALL true knowledge and wisdom is given".

Lets finally look at what was originally written so we can learn a intended lesson about humbleness. The term used in exodus 10:1 is: "h'kbd ty" his heart, correctly broken down as: the + heavy-glory + I = "I made heavy-glory" his heart. Now we can understand what really was intended for us to understand, that YHWH had "heavily glorified" the prideful heart of Pharoh and his servants because he wanted him to try to humble himself in the presence of ALL, to the renouned Elohym of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

If we want to be honest, one of the hardest things for a haughty person to do is humble their prideful self in public, let alone for a World renoun leader to humble his Super-prideful heart in the sight of the multitudes! YHWH in his infinate wisdom knew this so the Most High just allowed Pharoh's heart / thoughts to be more of what it ALREADY was -> ELEVATED.

Pharoh was certainly given a opportunity, but a prideful fool will always be a prideful fool, ...can this be applied to anyone you know? or even self? Pharoh responded to advice from his servants and as well as locust plague as we read in exodus 10:16-17, Then Pharoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, "I have sinned against YHWH your Elohym, and against you. 17 Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin ONLY this ONCE, and intreat YHWH your Elohym, that he may take away from me this death only". .....- did he say "forgive my sin only this once" - this was NOT a act of true humility but rather a forced admittance that he had sinned against the mighty one of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob..... the Elohym of the Israelites and wanted to escape further tribulation. There is a BIG difference between "hardening" someones heart so they CAN'T make a decision as opposed to allowing self-glory so they WON'T make the right decision - as was this case in the scriptures. . .

Now lets look at a early example of humility, the example of being humbled that the Israelites were brought into by the hand of YHWH for a purpose. We read in debarym / deuteronomy 8:1-3, ".....ALL the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which YHWH sware unto your fathers. 2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the YHWH thy Elohym led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to HUMBLE thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. 3 And he HUMBLED thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of YHWH doth man live". ......- We see there was a important purpose of humbling the Israelites, to remove some of that selfish pride they may have extracted from Egypt during the previous hundreds of years and also to humble and test them, a test that many of them failed ..... all of which had to be done BEFORE he brought them into the promised land - now can the imposters in the land today say the same? ...are they tested and purged?

If we think about what we may have to go through to enter into YAH's kingdom we may want to seriously consider this: keeping his commands and have the mindset and heart set of humility.

Lets look at the instruction givin to melek Shelomo aka King Solomon after he was finished praying, we read in 2nd Chr. 7:12-14, ... and YHWH appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. 13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 IF my people, which are called by my name, shall HUMBLE themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land". ......- well this certainly looks conditional to me! ->>> "IF my people called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways....." is not a suggestion from YHWH but a requirement by YHWH, both HUMILTY and REPENTANCE!

There are so many examples of the importance of humilty that it would require a whole book in itself but lets look at what our word made flesh had to say on the matter.

In a dialogue between h'mashiach and his talmadym aka disciples, pertaining to their concern over rank in the coming kingdom (can you believe that carnal mindset?) Matthew 18:1-4 we read: At the same time came the disciples unto YAHushua, saying, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" 2 And Yahushua called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, "Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall HUMBLE himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven". ......- well all this time we thought all the followers of Yahushua were automatically getting in, but i guess not! He straightway made plain the conditions of kingdom entrance ->>> except ye be converted / changed you will NOT be allowed in, and as far as your concern for rank - whosoever HUMBLES themselves as that child that Yahushua called and set in the middle of them (so that the child was surrounded by believers of Yahushua as ALL children should be) is the highest esteemed in the Kingdom to come.

Also there is a perfect understanding that Yahushua gave to the multitudes (not just his disciples) that we learned from in Matthew 23:1-12, Then spake Yahushua to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever HE bid you (yamr) observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after THEIR works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even h'mashiach; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even h'mashiach. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall HUMBLE himself shall be exalted". ......- this is correction and understanding for the ages! This was givin to the multitudes to let them know to keep ALL that was given to them by Moshe but don't follow the haughty Pharisees. Yahushua makes it plain to NOT desire elevated titles for self or place elevated titles on each other because obviously that feeds into ones pride and starves ones humility.

Yahushua then closes it out with prophetic instruction that the greatest amongst you shall serve you aka a "major demotion" so dont seek to be BIG amonst the congregations and whosoever lifts himself up shall be brought waaay back down, but he that has the wisdom to be humble and stay humble shall be lifted up..... haleluYAH!

So as we continue on this journey through life till our time is up or the Master returns, lets remember: if we do all we can to put ourselves on high by any measure (even teaching the word).... it's a long way back down and very embarrassing, but IF we stay grounded - he that is authorized will raise us up to heights we can't even imagine, so if you haven't already ->>> lets get ready to humbleeeeeeeee,

.....selah and shalom

Shalom, shalom L'kol, may YAHWAH be praised. Todah Akhee Shmanu YAH for sharing / teaching such wisdom. Pride & arrogance are truly a setback in the development of man's elevation in becoming a better servant unto YAHWAH. It's truly fascinating (if one understands) to observe Pharoah's hardened heart / his down right conceit  of himself!  He asks forgiveness from YAHWAH by Moshe for 'his Only sin, this one time & does so with a snicker / non repentant attitude. In contrast, a child's heart is purely / intentionally sincere when they have done wrong  & are looking for forgiveness and love, especially from the one they love, and one they know loves them back. A child will be sad if you stay angry / displeased with them.   Our heart should be saddened when we dis-please YAHWAH for what we have done, when wrong.  A contrite heart is what YAHWAH looks for in HIS servant. If there is no humility, there is no true meaning to what is expressed.  We should not think ourselves better / above each other.  If we have One Father & One Master, what does that make us ??? It should be a servant trying to be a better servant !   Abba was trying to rid us of our arrogance & ego in the wilderness that we carried from Egypt, we were being tested to bring us back to humility, love & concern for one another. Many of us (as you stated akhee) failed. Many of us are still in that frame of mind today : one Moreh disliking another Moreh for the way he teaches, one sister not liking another sister 'cause she dresses in cultural garb and the other one doesn't.  We have come away from the 'higher goal' which is to love another & serve one another for the upliftment of each other. This is humility. Yisrael has a ways to go, and I pray we all take the time to begin by looking at ourselves, and begin to understand it starts with us , 'in the heart'' .  If we ask Abba daily to 'create in us a clean heart & renew a right spirit within us ' ( Psalms 51:10-11) hopefully we will come to know humility and be right before YAHWAH & Yahushua to enter the Kingdom.   Selah!

YAH BLESS,

Emah AtalYah
